Apple TV+ presents "WondLa," an animated adventure series inspired by Tony DiTerlizzi's New York Times bestselling book series, "The Search for WondLa."
"WondLa" follows Eva, a spirited and curious teenager, who has been raised in a state-of-the-art underground bunker by her robot caretaker, Muthr. On her 16th birthday, Eva's life takes a dramatic turn when her bunker is attacked, forcing her to venture onto the surface of a transformed Earth, now known as Orbona. This new world is inhabited by aliens and covered in other-worldly fauna, with no humans in sight.
Eva's journey is accompanied by Otto, a lovable giant water bear with whom she shares telepathic powers, and Rovender, a cantankerous alien with a troubled past. Together, they embark on a dangerous quest to find other humans, discover Eva's true home, and uncover her destiny.
The cast of "WondLa" features Jeanine Mason, Teri Hatcher, Brad Garrett, Gary Anthony Williams, Chiké Okonkwo, D.C. Douglas, Alan Tudyk, and more. The series is helmed by showrunner and executive producer Bobs Gannaway.
"WondLa" premieres June 28, exclusively on Apple TV+.

Eva went from a blonde 13 year old with french-braided pigtails and a cool sci-fi outfit to someone who looks like 32 year old Raya who sometimes wears medical scrubs. And Mother... why does she look like that?? Just another example of the book was better. Just thought it would turn out better since the book was actually illustrated. I mean, the author literally drew all the designs for them, and they STILL threw it out the window.
