This video brings you ayu moss-eating scenes and the underwater world of outstanding transparency, filmed in the Choshi River in summer. The Choshi River is one of the most transparent rivers in Japan, and is a beautiful location where the river flows through a terrain of large and small rock formations.
The film captures the ayu fighting for territory and rubbing their bodies against the rocks. The ayu's moss-eating moment and the drama of the underwater life unfolding on the bedrock are a must-see. I was also able to capture a scene of a boobyfish munching on moss and fighting over the top of a rock.
The landscape of rocks and fish of all sizes is truly a fish paradise.
Through this video, I hope you can feel the breath of Japan's beautiful nature and diverse fish.

昨日、京都はかなりの降水量でした(合計200mmくらいです)
しかし、8月に入ってからは雨がほとんど降っておらず鴨川も水位低下と渇水状態でしたので、ようやくまとまった雨が降ってくれたと感じます。増水の被害が出ないといいですが...
