This is a lot Zimy... thanks for sharing these images. What a great way to tell a story, I could watch this without audio and still get the message. Big fan
wow ! 💪🏻 strong work ! lovely to see this people fighting for mother nature ! just watched avatar 2 yesterday and this tropical forest it’s like james cameron describes EY’WA mother nature in the movie with so many different species that we need to protect !
Franchement… MERCI !!
my goodness what spectacular pictures! you are a great director! congratulations for the color, for the assembly, for everything you do for mother nature. nature is wonderful!!❤
Beautiful and interesting documentary. You managed to keep the viewer engaged over the whole length 🙌 May I ask how many days of filming went into this one?
Hey Thomas thank you very much happy you enjoyed it ! In total we spent a month in Costa Rica and I used images captured throughout the country while being careful to only include species that can be found in the Corcovado. Regarding Corcovado itself, we spent about a week there to cover all the shots in the park as well as the interviews and the part with Eduardo and the snakes so not much time. ahah
This was amazing. Thanks, you gave me som much inspiration.I love the color grade. Do you film with S-log or any Lut. Your orange and teal I lovely. :-)
thank you so much ! I usually dont shoot slog with the sony cause i see more noise coming out of it so i use cine4. I didnt use any teal and orange luts on this one hehe. I went for a more greenish cine look with luts i created myself. Happy you like it !!! thank you
Travail incroyable !
thank you so much ! I shot everything myself with a bit of help from my gf for the itw with the 2nd cam. I edited everything myself, color grade and sound design as well
Great short film! Just some curiosity. We just came back from Costa Rica and Corcovado. The guides told us that the red eye frog with the blue belly and the yellow eyelash viper can be only found on the Caribbean side. On the Pacific side the red eye frog is completely green and the eyelash vipers green or brown. Are all your shot from Corcovado or was our info wrong? Greets
Hi Alex, thanks for your message. First of all, not all the shots were captured in Corcovado but all the animals featured can be found there. The red eye tree frog can be found pretty much all over the country so definitely both sides. The ones I featured in the documentary, I captured them near La Fortuna so definitely not on the Pacific side. The eyelash pit vipers I captured, both the yellow one and the green/red/yellow one I captured them in Corcovado with Eduardo. As you can see in the film, he rescues the snakes from the area so they definitely don't come from the Caribbean side.
Yo dude! This video is so amazing! You have added some serious sound design with perfect cuts. I can clearly see that you have spent a ton of time editing this project🥵🔥. Your so so underrated keep up this great work and can't wait for your future contents and I would really love to see some color grading plus editing tutorials from you❤
What lens you used for close up shots of the wild animals . ? Was trying this weekend to get shots of birds with a 150-600 and as soon they saw me walking closer to them they just flew away. I wonder how you film those animals and at what focal length. One of the shots on this video shows like if you were using the 100-400 but not sure
Wow just a unique video brrooooo...... We love it... Such a clean one. Such a wow.... No noise no lag Only creative.... Wowowowow wonderful ....... Can i come with youu....LOL😂😍😍😍😍😍😍
Man, that is insanely good! this needs to be on Netflix brother. It is my goal to shoot a documentary like this on the Amazon as I am Brazilian. From composition to storytelling and colour grading, you crushed it. If you have time, check out the message I sent you on IG. Keep up the amazing work ❤️
Thank you so much man! I can only encourage to do it ! Unfortunately we didn't have that much time to shoot this one so I could have made it even bigger and longer and I'm still stoked with the outcome as I pretty much shot it all by myself. Right now we're working on a feature length documentary about shark conservation that we started over a year ago and that we re hoping to finish for 2024 and we'll try to pitch this one to Netflix or a major platform. Would be epic
@@ZimyDaKid that’s amazing that you shot all that mostly yourself. Man, if you’re saying it will be better than this one, I’m 100% sure you’ll be able to get it on the major streaming platforms and I’ll be waiting for it. Have a great weekend bro 👊🏽

ahah yeah visuellement c'est beau mais malheureusement tout ça c'était de la jungle avant et maintenant de la monoculture de palmiers :(
