That place was awesome. Homeless as kid this place was my second home. Cops tried to keep people out even cutting the inner part of the stairs. You only had a little bit of the stair left and the hand railing which never failed for me. Once you got off the stairs there was like a cult room. Some crazy people had a Pentagon and Idk if it was real blood. There were dead animals everywhere in those first few rooms then u got to a ladder. The ladder would lead u more up down the hall to another ladder and then another staircase. At the top (especially at night) it was so beautiful. It was safe. I loved it there. I remember the basement was full of water. I honestly thought back then it was a paper factory or dog food factory. One room on the ground floor had nothing but empty dog food cans. It really was amazing. I wish I had footage or someone did. I wouldnt have survived my young teens without that place! Ty for this video!
Thanks for posting the video. I used to park next door about 30 feet away in the shadow of the structure when it was unoccupied and deteriorating in the late 80's.
Farewell Snakeland. This is not how you will be remembered; although the implosion was rather majestic in itself. Some of us found peace and solace there in the urban decay and organized chaos. 🖤🖤🖤
