Margrit Mondavi recounts history of Napa Valley wine business

Richard Mendelson, partner of Dickenson Peatman & Fogarty in Napa, interviewed Margrit Mondavi at North Bay Business Journal's wine-focused Impact Napa Conference in Napa on Aug. 28, 2014.
She recalled what Napa Valley was like in the 1960s when she arrived from Europe. From her pioneering role as a female tour guide at Charles Krug Winery to meeting Robert Mondavi, Mrs. Mondavi noted how their blending art, music and food and Mr. Mondavi's generosity with up-and-coming winemakers helped develop Napa Valley into a world-renowned region for producing and experiencing wine.
