Marie is a French teacher so I wil continu in French :)).
You guys are great to watch. My wife and I watch regularly. One thing that seems to be missing from your income streams is UA-cam monetization and affiliate program income. You have 24,000 subscribers and have lots of views for each of your videos so I assume you would be making a modest income from those two streams. I would be interested to hear what that annual or monthly income is. Keep up the great work and happy camping.
We didn’t have that many followers when we first posted that video. Since then we started the monetization program, but still struggling to make good money with everything on here...
Money is the biggest hurdle before I can go full van life. I started a blog 2 years ago that started monetizing ( I juuuuust finished my bachelor in Marketing at Concordia) and I give myself 2 more years for it to become my full-time income before I can move in a van ( which I am saving for), while starting other niche blogs for growth.
I would also love to hear about your internet situation. I work remotely for my current job but have to be in video meetings all day. I'm ok with paying a lot for internet - but could I even buy enough bandwidth to do my job?
I would LOVE to see you guys film an honest working day and what that looks like. A little sneak peak into the days that dont make it to the instagram account. Absolutely love you guys!!!
Absolute stars!! This channel is going to be big and you are both so ready for all of the success life will offer!! Happy weekend beautiful people ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦

I have recently started following you two and I am IN LOVE! I’ve never loved watching a couple this much. You guys are fun, honest, and open. I’ve enjoyed the few videos I’ve watched and can’t wait to watch more ! 💕☺️
Hey thanks! ❤️ I’m doing some research I’m 16 and for years iv been researching ways to make money on the road and vanlife itself. I am completely in love with the thought of being free and not being stuck in one place. Not knowing where your going next week or who you will meet❤️
Also I like the thought of being minimalistic, my whole life has been cluttered physically and emotionally. I have always been frowned at for throwing things away or getting rid of anything old and not needed.
Your very fortunate to have careers like those I can’t full time Rv until I retire because I’m a contractor for renovations but good luck to the both of u
What a channel! You deserve way more subs than you have. The production is the best I have seen among van lovers. The chemistry, the personalities, I wish you guys all the best from Russia with love! I also don't skip the ads in your videos to make it a little bit easier for you to travel 😁
Wow, thanks for that comment! We understand UA-cam is a long and tedious road to having a lot of subscribers. But we are very patient! Let us know what you think of the other videos!
You guys are amazing AF!!! I am a new subscriber but I love that you guys are so connected and you are willing to share you information and knowledge with us. Love you guys vibe so hard 💕
I just love y’all and all your videos! I want to get out on the road, myself, but I’m quite a bit older than you. My idea is to convert a shuttle bus and take it all around North America doing virtual field trips for students, both those in school and homeschooled students. I’ve been a tutor since I was ten years old in 1969, mostly special needs students. I also homeschooled my own kids as well as several other kids. I’m wondering if you could think of ways I could monetize this journey? After all, you are a teacher and a marketer, so this is right down your alley!
Theresa Hartman I LOVE YOUR IDEA! I can see that really working for you, especially since you are an educator, and so many students are not able to travel.
Wow! You are amazing. Converting a van to serve others, you are beyond this world. Honestly, tutoring on the road could be feasible. I would only wonder about clients/students. How about creating some sort of library or reading circle in the van and reach out to schools? You could go around the province and teach/read from the van 🤷♀️
Kim Japhet Or maybe you could build some kind of conference for kids about different topics on the road, like stories or little skits, and you could tour schools? We have friends who do that with music for elderly people. They drive around in their van and play on their rooftop.
Ashley Engel ohhh thank you !! Clothing, my pants/shorts are from Les Basics. Shirts are often from H&M, men’s section lol. Jewelry is mostly from cheap stores, wouldn’t recommend them. They turn yellow and make my fingers go green lol.
As a recently retired school teacher, I have fallen down the rabbit hole of vanlife videos. Not sure if it's feasible for me - part time anyway - but you two make me wish I was 30-something again. You are fun to watch and have your heads on straight. Keep it up!
I'm not surprised at all that you guys are successful. You have wonderful personalities and great speaking skills...and you are funny. Very witty. You're approachable and make friends easily. This was a very informative but mostly an enjoyable video. I'll be 74 next month (June 2021)...just realized this video was uploaded almost a year ago. I'm retired from the U.S. Air Force and now retired from civilian work life. With my monthly income I will be able to live comfortably on the road and live in my van. After traveling world wide in the military and working jobs in the Pacific islands it's time for me to visit or revisit all lower 48 states, Alaska and your beautiful country of Canada.
This is so awesome! I'm a freelance ESL teacher, and I've been doing it for 2 years, but even though I got certified and everything, its not anywhere near sustainable. SO I just started freelance ghostwriting, and I'm really excited about it. It's slow going right now, but I'm really hoping it takes off.
Wow, such unique backgrounds; by default I assume remote workers are techies. Marie's income as a PhD student is extraordinarily impressive! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Oh my gosh! It's so good to know that life on the road is possible when getting a PhD. I'm about to enter a masters program in the states, so the next two years my finance and I are going to build our bus and then travel. I'll have two years of classes when I enter PhD but maybe I could do them remotely? Did you still have courses to take when you entered your PhD program and were you traveling at the time? I'm pretty on the fence about getting a PhD and continuing to postdoc and professor. My discipline is Astronomy. It's pretty competitive and super difficult. I feel like stepping away and working for non-profits or renewable energy companies or something else positive for the world might be better for me. 🤷♀️
Do it girl! It's a lot of work, but so rewarding! To answer the question, only started vanlife when my classes were over. It would've been difficult otherwise.
Hi. I may not have introduced myself. I am I. I have a tiny black fuffbag dog... E'li. We live in rural Wales UK. It green, mountainous and wet. I have a black van which i purchased in march, the day the lockdown occured... Hmmm, so no work done. It doesnt have a name yet. Well, nice to meet you both. Xx

From a technical standpoint however, the seamless transitions, choice of fonts, your illustrations, motion graphics, color adjustments/luts, sound effects and music, pas de chance. Very, very well-done and enjoyable videos, thank you!!
I am happy for you both that you have achieved this way of living so early in life. I did the 'stack-and-go'. I worked for forty years in order to travel for the last five!!
That comment is NICE! Dom is very talented as well and you noticing means a lot. Where did you travel to during those 5 years? Sounds like a sweet thing.
@@vanlifesagas I have dual citizenship. Five years ago I sold my house in Atlanta, bought a truck and fifth wheel trailer then began following the sun. I summer in Niagara On The Lake, Ontario, then spend my winters in the warm Southern States, hopefully with many years to come.
Ohhh so jealous. That’s our plan! Good job for making it happen :)
Just came across your channel tonight. Brilliant !!!
Yay! Welcome onboard Mimi! There's a lot for you there :)
You guys are AWESOME!! Seriously. You both are so creative. You've earned the beautiful lifestyle you're living. I don't know what the future holds for you, but I'm sure it's going to be GREAT! 😊
You're amazing Charlie! Seriously! Way to motivate us! 🥰
Loved this post, and that you are not working in Van Life typical vlogger jobs. Makes the lifestyle seem real and achievable
It truly is! It's different, but so achievable!
Hello from Paris, and please come for a meal if you ever decide to come visit France. I'm enjoying your videos very much. Thank you for sharing. I plan to go on the road at one point in my life even if it's going to be when I'm 60...... I love watching videos like yours, helps me understand what to do, how to do it and start planning.....
Bonjour Carmen!
Seriously guys first video and I'm impressed! I love how so well spoken you both are and you make me so proud that you are from Quebec! Hello from Montreal!
Lucy Fioriti ohhh you’re the sweetest. Hello from Gatineau!!
You folks are wonderful! I just discovered you and I’m sold. Your willingness to share is appreciated.
Thanks for recognizing that! Our main goal is to share and be honest!
Wow. I have so much respect for the two of you. Thank you for being so authentic/realistic and giving such guided advice/steps
Jess, it’s our pleasure! Thank you for your comment!
Love your videos, you make me smile! Thanks for sharing this content. Something we have definitely been think about for when we decided to hit the road full time in the future
You must! Especially on the road, you want to be stress free. No time to start figuring out finance while you’re in the middle of the woods !!!
@@vanlifesagas no doubt, that would be bad! 😂
Fellow Canadians! Love the channel! Can’t wait to see more! Were joining the nomad journey on our channel in the coming weeks!! WE CANT WAIT 🤙🏼🇨🇦
Drew & Shannon yeeeeha! Hey there! Where are you guys from?
Vanlife Sagas Ontario! Wbu? Have any tips for the “down sizing” we’re super stoked!!
We’re from Ottawa/Gatineau. Tips for downsizing... Dom and I are REALLY minimalistic to begin with. When we see things that we didn’t use/wear in the last month (if it’s not off season) it’s out.
Vanlife Sagas oh nice!! We’re about 2 hours outside of Toronto! I love the one month limit! Totally going to adopt that! also just watched your 10 must have gadgets!! awesome!!
Drew & Shannon They’re pretty neat. Where are you headed first?
You 2 are what I call organic. Real, honest and wisdom. For a retiree, a old lady with a pup, would love to see the state's before I leave this earth, in Texas, the beaches are on the top of my list! Y'all are blessed ❤✌
Awe Debbe! You're the best. Let's try to bump into each other on the road next year. Well, this summer!
You have beautiful chemistry together , love how you're both so genuine , nice to hear about your background you must be very Proud of one another ....lovely video Thank you 💗
awe thank you so much for the love ❤️ can't wait to see you next Sunday
Ok I know this might sound a bit strange especially from a person that English is not my mother language, but it is so refreshing to watch a video where the English language is not butchered!!! Good travels from Greece
Ahhh thanks Lena! And Greece! Can you vanlife over there? Dreaming of going there!
@@vanlifesagas Yes you can. And its very safe here. And warm for about 6 months of a year!!!! I love Canada but i could not stay there, the cold was too much for me.So come on over...
Your relationship is goals!!
absolute best friend! (and lover)
Very helpful tips thank you so much for sharing, spacially on what to consider before I take off.
You're most welcome! If you have any questions, we're here!
Thanks, actually been caching up with yours videos almost convinced to get our self a van😎
Wow, you two exude good vibes. And you complement each other's personalities kinda perfectly. Thanks for sharing this helpful info. I'll be sure to tune into the next video, and the one after that....etc .etc.
Angie Stewart yayyyy a new friend! Thanks Angie! See you next week :)
Great video. Down to earth, real life working for your lifestyle.
Thank you! Means a lot.
Keep up the hard word. It’ll pay off in the end... we promise 🖤
You can also just live in a van and go places on weekends and scheduled time off. That's what I do.
lainey marie absolutely. We started like that for the first 2 years.
@@laineydiamond I still need to finish putting money aside for the van built. The two years is also a money-saving period :)
any chance you can do a vlog about internet access in Canada while you travel? thanks!! Love your sagas.
Coming in 2 weeks! Stay tuned!
I would also love to hear about your internet situation. I work remotely for my current job but have to be in video meetings all day. I'm ok with paying a lot for internet - but could I even buy enough bandwidth to do my job?
Cutest couple on UA-cam. Thanks!
Sending hugs !!!
I would LOVE to see you guys film an honest working day and what that looks like. A little sneak peak into the days that dont make it to the instagram account. Absolutely love you guys!!!
Hi Maria! Check out the ''a typical day'' video. You'll see exactly what a day looks like for us on the road.
Absolute stars!! This channel is going to be big and you are both so ready for all of the success life will offer!! Happy weekend beautiful people ❤️🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
Oh Lily! You’re the best 🖤
Your vibe together is PRECIOUS. I would say I'm envious, but I am thankful I have that with my partner.
Awe thanks Shawn 🧡
I watch many videos. I have subscribed to just one. Vanlife Sagas. Thank you for making me smile and for teaching me along the way. Congratulations and job will done.
Yay! Welcome aboard Mary! See you next Sunday for a new video!
You guys are amazing individuals and together UNSTOPPABLE. I'm so impressed. God Bless, take good care and stay healthy. I enjoy getting to know you, so thank you for the smile on my face today.
ahhh you're amazing. Thank you so much!
love watching you two! practical info along with wonderful personalities! this video had some unexpected and SUPER helpful advice on starting freelancing business .. who knew we would get a lesson on building a business plan!!?? thank you so much.. really helpful !! Blessings ...
Glad you liked it! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate. Be safe ❤️
You both are AMAZING, HILARIOUS, and radiate good vibes! I bet there are no dull moments together. You both possess a good background, which becomes a benefit for both of you to travel while working. I always think of what job I could do while moving around and still figuring out what that job is. But seriously, you guys look perfect for each other keep it up! 👍💕 God bless you both 🙏🏻
Oh, we're just faking it!!!! Just kidding! Thanks for the love.
Have you guys ever thought about doing a workshops to help teach others how to do social media? I like how you guys do your videos and how organize, but also authentic you guys are.
I have recently started following you two and I am IN LOVE! I’ve never loved watching a couple this much. You guys are fun, honest, and open. I’ve enjoyed the few videos I’ve watched and can’t wait to watch more ! 💕☺️
Ahhh you're the best! Thanks Megan! That means a lot :)
This was a very informative video. Thank you for the Business Plan for Dummies; really clarifies it for me.
You are most welcome! Thank you for the comment friend!
Awe we love hearing that. Glad it could help Vinetta! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate!
Thanks Dom & Marie 👍..great info 💪
Jimmy Mark you got it 🙌
Thanks much. This video was awesome and very helpful. Cheers!
You're most welcome! See you tomorrow for a new episode sharing the End of our vanlife experience :(
Oh nooo
Love your energy and information! Blessings from Oz ❤️🙌🏽❤️🙌🏽❤️
Well I heard it but I still haven't got a clue what you do straight over the top of my head👏👍😷
Hahha looooots of things. Marie: Ph.D + scholarships + social media management. Dom: owns a business!
Love your videos! Keep ‘em coming please!
Promise. See you next Sunday for another video.
Hailing from Ontario! Really loved this video, thanks for some good tips! :)
Yeeeha Ontario! Where about?
Vanlife Sagas A small Village called Coldwater :D
Your very fortunate to have careers like those I can’t full time Rv until I retire because I’m a contractor for renovations but good luck to the both of u
Yeah! We are extremely grateful to be able to work on the road. Perhaps it's a generation thing, but we are lucky for sure.
My lord great couples.. keep on what you do .. I'm from Gatineau . Benny
Gatineau REPRESENT!
Well, it’s our objective: share as much as we can. Glad you like it 🖤
I just love y’all and all your videos!
Theresa Hartman- check out Creativity RV she resently released a book about making money as a nomad.
Kim Japhet Or maybe you could build some kind of conference for kids about different topics on the road, like stories or little skits, and you could tour schools? We have friends who do that with music for elderly people. They drive around in their van and play on their rooftop.
What great ideas! I have tutored remotely many times, and I am great a putting presentations together, too! So awesome!
This was great thanks for being so open and honest! Lots of good info here!
Of course! If you have any questions, we're here!
@@vanlifesagas I just got a van and in the process of building it out now, also from QC so maybe we will cross paths one day! Keep up the good videos!
Love you both! Thank you so much for sharing, this is invaluable advice! Stay quirky 😚🤗💞
Elizabeth L hahaha I think we have quirky as middle names 😂
@@vanlifesagas 😂😂😂
You guys are amazing and I love your videos! I was wondering where you get your clothes and jewelry because it looks awesome!
Ashley Engel ohhh thank you !! Clothing, my pants/shorts are from Les Basics. Shirts are often from H&M, men’s section lol. Jewelry is mostly from cheap stores, wouldn’t recommend them. They turn yellow and make my fingers go green lol.
This is so interesting! Thanks for sharing ☺️
It's our pleasure😁
Great video and you guys are a great couple.
Thank you! Welcome to the channel :)
Just stumbled on your vlog today...where have you been all my life?!?! You both are adorable!
Hahah right here girl. Right here!
As a recently retired school teacher, I have fallen down the rabbit hole of vanlife videos. Not sure if it's feasible for me - part time anyway - but you two make me wish I was 30-something again. You are fun to watch and have your heads on straight. Keep it up!
Awe thank you! I am sure its feasible if you put your heart into it😁🧡
Marie ! We all miss you in 2022 😘
I miss her too! She says hi!
That's amazing though. We wish you to find all the gigs you need!
@@vanlifesagas thank you so much! I hope so too 😁
Seeing how much Dom looks like Dave Grohl... 17:07 is the scene I've waited for since first finding this channel hahaha
Hahah right? They're basically twins!
Its my first video watching you guys and I already love you
Thanks Stephen! Make sure to subscribe if you don't wanna miss anything! Glad you like the content!
Wow, such unique backgrounds; by default I assume remote workers are techies. Marie's income as a PhD student is extraordinarily impressive! Thanks for sharing 🙂
No worries! We should update this video soon enough as our professional lives are going through major changes right now!
Diane Rizi merci beaucoup Diane!
Xx
Lesley Kurdi ohhhh no. That’s unfortunate. So sorry to hear that. Hopefully you can get on the road soon !!
LaPimmy ahh ben wow.
