Amen and Amen. We shake our heads at the rampant idolatry of Biblical times, but if we are honest with ourselves, idolatry is even more rampant today. There are far, far more "things" and "people" being worshiped today...even in the homes and among the families of those who know the Word and proclaim to be "Christians". Sad...but true.
Absolutely. I can see that. For sure. Hollywood is idolized. American Idol, and the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Notice they all seem to die young? Or penniless? God is not to be mocked. 😨
