I graduated high school in 89 from a suburb of Detroit. Love when you pull the Pistons and have to speak on the Bad Boys back 2 back Champs. I was a Dumars and Vinnie Microwave Johnson fan, also Kelly Tripucka was a former Piston and longtime announcer. Love these segments 👍👊🇺🇸🤘
One thing to note about Joe Dumars. Other than being an amazing basketball player, He was considered the only good guy on those "Bad Boy" Pistons teams. Such a good guy that they named the Trophy for Best Sportsmanship in the NBA the Joe Dumars Trophy.

Haha, Fratello coached for 20+ years and is an NBA analyst on TV now. He coached my grizzlies in the early 2000s when Pau Gasol was still here. But memphis did NOT care for Pau because he was a soft European... even tho he's a HoFer now lol. Much more a Zbo city. But anyway, Fratello had a lot of success here and as a coach generally. First playoff appearance for the franchise. Wonder if he won a finals... I need his card!

Couple of weeks ago went to a sports card show and went straight to the old pack section. Got a couple of 1980’s NASCAR packs, Robin Hood the movie and some nba packs. Passed on the desert storm pack even though the guy said it would probably have a Hussein rookie.

Ronnie Grandeson - I just remember him for being a scrub/mop duty guy for a Knicks 5. Larry Drew - Coached in the NBA for several teams, decent for the Hawks, have zero memory of his NBA career 6. Jeff Malone - All Star with Washington, pretty decent player 7. Earl Cureton - dunno 🤷♂sounds kinda familiar 8.
