@@JaneDoyle-v7s What I have found if something doesn’t work it’s best to just do the factory reset (see Somfy factory reset video we have) and start over. You may want to do the factory reset then wait 5 minutes before trying again.
@@JaneDoyle-v7s Just being clear since I'm not there in person, the motor should not respond to the remote after doing the factory reset. If it does still respond, the #1 I see people miss is holding the program button on the back of the remote through TWO separate jogs (holding the program button for about 12 seconds total). The #2 most missed step is not pushing the program button on back of remote to lock in programming after the last step, but it doesn't sound like you've gotten there yet. The other thing to clarify is that my video is referring to Somfy exterior shade motors (not the same motors as indoor blinds & shades). The steps are pretty similar but my company does all outdoor products so that could be the problem. If you're working with outdoor screens AND you've successfully reset the motor then try going through the programming steps in this video again. Maybe try setting the lower limit before setting the upper limit (my video does upper limit first because that's how I always do it). Somfy is the biggest brand and widest used for all types of motorized shades but they can be a little quirky. I used to struggle and couldn't find good troubleshooting videos especially for the outdoor motors so I started making my own. I hope this helps!
My blind doesn’t go down after I have held the my button and the up button
