  • This vid explains how information is sequenced through our 3 brains. It also discusses how most of our decisions are based on our reptilian brain, and if we want to problem solve and come from a space of gratitude and appreciation, we need to access the Prefrontal Cortex (PFC).

Thank you Maverick, this video was created years ago and my understanding of the mind has expanded. This 3 brains perspective does allow us to see that we don’t see the world as it is, more so via the filtering system of the mind.
Thank you for subscribing to the channel.
There are more videos that explain the mind as well as explore spirituality via the lens of Non-dualism.
The playlist called “Tea with Mo” holds those lectures.
      Enjoy 🙏🏽

So well explained, delivered and well researched. Only one minor comment would be to have the parts of the brain in rough scale because it appears the blue brain is bigger then the red brain. Thanks for the clip though

Lisa Feldman Barrett and other neuroscientists have poked holes in and in some ways disproven this long-held belief.

ERR ! No she is not mentioning that she is existing within the Confirmation bias that the Amygdala does not exist !
If someone mentions the brain and never mentions the dominance relationships between the Amygdala and the PFC as you grow up
Then they are existing within the confirmation bias that the PFC is all that matters
If you exist with that innocence then , yes everything she says is right
The PFC is a delusion machine and it creates delusions
And that you control almost all those delusions
      And as Buddha taught
You can only create individual delusions by staying away from other people
If you suffer other people and do not leave them, then its impossible to create a self delusion,
Only people living remotely can go insane
But if I were to attack you,
1 the Amygdala takes over, because its real, not imagined in the delusion machine
2 whilst being eaten it is actually possible to allow the PFC dominance again to pretend that pain is joy
But that's again delusional, the reality is that feelings are a range of heart rate , determined by the Amygdala first and foremost
The Elephant in the room shall we say
The proof that almost everything is delusion
But the truth is also that the above is wrong as well

Prefrontal cortex? I thought it was the Devine brain. The part that lets you talk to God.
