    I dunno who edits your videos nowadays but it's not easy to watch this one. The view changes so often that I have trouble properly checking the hand, tournament in play, etc. Sorry for the criticism but the videos were much better a few months ago

      I disagree, I think the editing makes it more engaging

      It's meant to be engaging, but it distracts. Ben analysis hands in real time and it's zoomed in on him every 4 seconds, soyou cannot focus on the table

    IMO There's also too much switching from the table view to your face and back. It was better earlier when the table view was kept at almost all times, with your face & voice in the background

    I'm watching a lot of poker content and gotta say your format is the besT!
    Not too long like full streams when nothing happens, not so short like highlights when you learn nothing.
    PERFECT!

  • @sid7607
    @sid7607 10 місяців тому +15

    Too much switching from table to face in my opinion. Also, for deep run tournaments, maybe it’s better to edit the whole tournament run together so it’s a consistent story rather than having multiple tournaments in one video.
    As always, love the content. Love the thought process. I learn so much from these, it’s unbelievable.

      It was always relaxing to watch, way too much going on now.

    I like how Ben showed more emotion on how he should have been stacked;
    flush over flush, rather than him hitting runner-runner quads 😂

    Ben no critisism here, massive thx as always for the content and you're huge generally , just note down mate , while watching the video i swear i checked 3 times if i had a 2nd sound source playing something, not 100% sure what has been done here but it is slightly distracting .

      We had problems with OBS, so we will be able to record the VOD without music.
      For the time being, there is nothing we can do.

    @12:51 bluffs follow value. Not the other way around. Whether you jam with Nut flush depends on the ranges that get there. As IP it’s a lot easier to jam with abs nuts. And if you say people fold all the time then it’s simple that you bluff jam a ton.

    Could be due to I play vs worse players, 19:59 19bb the mofo has too often aa over a bluff in this concept espcially vs the bb position who if bluffs and folds becomes the 6 of 6 remaining? Is this a HS thing to not get ran over or should u imply the strat at midstakes for example?

    • @lh5636
      @lh5636 10 місяців тому

      A top tier hand like aces :P. But I guess I wont ship it at those type of stakes due to ppl have to mix in under 50% box bluffs and it looks like they lack of doin that in general

    Tbh when i see 3bet on perfectly reshovable stack like 13 to 22 bigs non-allin(mostly min or slightly more) i have red alert cause a lot of the times from what ive seen it is KK+ .But that rule probably doesnt apply to high stakes and more aware opponents.I saw it so many times at micro and low that this is the scariest play to see. As well as min opens with 3 to 12 BB stacks first in . There are exceptions ofc and if so its worth noting for future.I could get with those guys deep into tournament and met them again at the same table

    Come on Ben you know that 104 suited was a thin value bet and he heroes it off punting your bluffing with the ace of spades. Turn was check check or bet call a king would raise the turn so would a 6

      So you say we should never bluff?

    • @Mikelarry993
      @Mikelarry993 10 місяців тому

      @@RaiseYourEdge not about never bluffing it’s just he’s never folding most of his range Ben’s always behind… I get coached and atm I’m studying aggressive preflop play and also when not to overplay hands if a c bet happened on the flop and then villain out of position checks turn most 70% of the time if he checks he’s content with showdown and bluff catching no need to barrel so yes sometimes bluff but that deep chip distribution on the table makes it worth the bluff but also works the opposite..

      I recommend you the following. COnnect the dots. Try to find reasonable amount of bluffs and value hands i Can have. Every reasonable player will have a hard time finding enough bluffs but still enough value hands I can shove. He completely blundered the hand and its fine. It happens. I am happy to see such punts because in the longterm I will show up with more value. He wanted to be a hero and he is a hero. I don't care about results, I care about making good revisions. I just faved the wrong opponent. You are very results orientated.
