BUY THE HEAVY DUTY KABOAT! well priced, well built, with extra rubber protection!!!!! from boats to go geni.us/Codxv Boats To Go 6HP 2 Stroke Hangkai only 40 pounds! (UPDATE IT BROKE ON ME) (affiliate) geni.us/U3Ht
I have the XHD330 boat with aluminum transom. Very nice for the price. I was looking at the Kaboats I just wish the made a 10-12ft version. I would be mostly going out on it alone.
Anything over 10mph is nice with a 5/6HP. I push my wide 330xhd 10-14mph with a 5HP honda upgrade to 6hp carb, coil and lower pitch prop. It's just enough. With two people it's 7-8mph. It's nice and portable with enough power to enjoy. The 9.8+ motors are nice on paper but the weight would kill the fun for me. I deflate my boat every time and just throw everything in my truck bed. Electric pump is a must.
That birds nest you had in your bait caster reel looks like what I do almost every cast. I have went back to my open face spinning reels. One of these days I might learn to use the bait caster but not too interested in it. Thanks for your channel and your review of all the boats.
Thanks :) There are some baitcasters, the cheaper ones, that create one backlash after another, or you really need to tighten them down then you can't cast far. But if you get a baitcaster that costs $150 or more, you won't have that issue. This one isn't bad at casting, though. I got a bird's nest because I left the spool open and the trout was flopping around, lol. Not a good combo. Give it another try. Start with throwing heavy baits, 1/4 oz and above, so you can get used to it.
Love the videos Aliex! Ya'll should check out some of those DC reels if you get backlashes, I got a Curado DC one and I can cast into the wind without worry of lashing.
The KaBoat is designed for optimal rowing by sitting backward on the center seat. This position allows you to stretch your legs and apply more power to each stroke for a smooth, comfortable experience. Rowing from the rear seat looking forward was not part of the original design.
Does not matter what the intention was, I just needed to get out of shore to turn the engine on, why do I need to set myself looking backwards if I'm only rowing for 1 min???? Are you selling this just as rowing boat?
