I traveled for approximately 26 years consulting at 31 commercial nuclear sites. When I had a few extra days to report I traveled America the Beautiful's back roads including Yellowstone. I retired ~10 years ago. In Connecticut the WILD Turkeys were disappearing. In the 1970s the Parks department replenished the turkeys from northwest Canada. These turkeys have thrived. Plus by not being greedy by appreciation we all benefit. A group of 35 visit often as I keep fresh clean water (no poison on property for 15 years) ticks + various bugs + nutrients... SHALOM
I was typing early in the am ..oops the error re wild turkeys actually came from eastern north Canada ~@ including Nova Scotia during the 1970s....sturdy wonderful birds! .
One day they will dwell in peace with the rest of the animals that’s my favorite prophecy. The animal kingdom and the reasonable people will finally enjoy peace and security on earth for ever and ever. Thanks the promise of the Creator of heaven and earth and everything that exist. Amen 🙏
Absolutely amazing. You have a beautiful Tom showing off for the ladies. To top it off a gray smoky hen and one bearded hen. Enjoy, tks for sharing. " the turkey whisperer ", I Massachusetts
We've had a steady visit of these beautiful creatures visiting our home 🏡 this January thru 22 of February 2024 in Connecticut. Offer them their usual favorites.....
Years ago I saw one chasing a juvenile fox LOL. The two of them emerged out of the brush and the turkey was screaming at, and chasing what looked to be a not quite fully grown fox. My guess is that the fox was trying to get at the turkey's nest and mama turkey was having none of it. This was on the wooded side of a service road that ran parallel to I270 in Maryland.
I just found your channel and I absolutely love it , I have a question about your videos. What kind of pellets are you feeding those turkey or what do you recommend. Thanks
