Things I liked in this version is we can see all group members especially flake, ollie, schneider and paul and the scenes. However scenes/stages do not match with the lyrics and pace of song, the fluency and continuity is missing. After I saw this, I understand why the group didnt like this version but still I am happy that it is released so we can see nice scenes and all group members :)

The hospital where the clip was filmed, abandoned nowadays, is called "Beelitz-Heilstätten", built in the late XIX century. Its main aim was the treatmen of diseases such as tuberculosis. In the WWI, it was used to treat wounded soldiers, even Adolf Hitler was there, after WWII, the hospital was reused by USSR. Apart from that, there are many paranormal stories associated with the place, Rammstein has played with all that topics, creating once again a work of art. (Spanish comment behind)
I agree. I didn't express myself correctly in this matter, I thought it that way you wrote it :) The most important thing about this is that both versions are awesome, regardless whether somebody likes this one, or the official one. Simply Rammstein 4Ever!!! :)

But this version is the "alternative version" in the way that it's the one that could've been the official but wasn't.

I think, this version has got more better scenes than the original, here you can see every members from Rammstein, in official only Till and Richard and that's pity... because for me are Ollie and Paul interesting and mysterous yet in this version. Honestly, I think that this isn't any "alternative version" of Mein Herz brennt, 'cause in Making of Mein Herz brennt, the band says that they needed to remake the clip 'cause it led nowhere (as for the story). First clip was directed by someone named Eugenio, but parts with an old lady (as seen in original version) were direscted by Zoran Bihac (guy who made for example Mein Teil clip). First version was made in December 2011, and the editions were made in Summer 2012. I'm sure in that by 95%.

I really agree with this, the best video was the Mein Herz Brennt (piano version). It's simple but very beautiful and emotional.
