Replace the $25 on 5 with $12 on 6, $12 on 8 and $10 on 5. It’s an extra $9 on the table but you will cover the loss of the field bet plus win you a few bucks as well. It also minimizes the loss of the hard 6 and 8 of the soft numbers hit.
Or how about placing $5 on 4 and 10 and $6 on 6 and 8. If you hit 4, 10 ,6 and 8 (22 $) easy you can pocket the extra while replacing the hard bets. Hard would be a good win. You only lose field on 5 and all on 7
not really a winning strat, but does seem to help you get back up when you do get a hardway or 5. At the start, you hit a couple of hardways and recoup some losses. I think i'd play this, but without a pass line or field bet. maybe $25 on 5 and 9, $5 on hardways, and then pray that the roll is hot. it's a fun one, but too many risks and not as much pay. Thanks for the video!
I play something similar to that. Only when I do it I only use the eight and the six in the hard ways. I cover them with the big eight and big six. I collect every time I win. If there's a soft eight or a soft six. The hard ways return from the big six and eight. I've done this way for a long time and it has served me well. I will usually wait for another person to be the shooter. I'll wait for a point to be established before I come out. That way if it's a seven and out I avoid it. on the rare occasion when I want to play the 10 hard and four hard I'll put place bets on the 10 and the four.
I'll use the same strategy on a $10 table as well. I also use the same amount to start with. That way I get 40 bets on a $5 table and 20 bets on a $10 table
Looks like fun if you get tired of grinding some hedge strategy. Hitting a few 8-to-1 numbers would make you smile. I’d probably turn off on the come out just for a little stress relief. Have to say, that was just about the most unlucky sequence of numbers possible.
I’ve done similar but placed points just extra starting on 5 (ten dollar table so 10,25,12,12,10,10 ) and start with 3,4,5 odds and feed from field till max odds ( use place bets to replace hard ways, and regardless push 6-8 first time so can replace field from winnings after that )
Far better off doing a 6 and 8 place bet for double your hard ways amount. At least you can collect and replace and still turn out in profit with just easy numbers. If you wanted to cover the 4 and 10 hard ways. I’d go less aggressive on those and plays a hybrid martingale strategy. Start with a $5 bet on each, and if a bet comes down you replace and add $1 to the previous bet. So your bet after the come out for someone with limited bankroll would be: $12 place bet on 6 and 8 $6 hard 6 and 8 $3 hard 4 and 10 (either or both losses with an easy number or a 7 out and you increase that number to $4, $5, etc)
I played about 50 shooters on the sim. This got killed to the tune of $500 on a $5 table. The biggest problem is, of course, losing $55 minimum on big red. You have to hit a lot of hard ways and 5s to beat that
I never have the hard ways working on come out roll. What I do is a $1 Hop on the hardways (risk $4) rather than bet $5 X 4 (risk $20) SO..... If a hardway hits, I get $30, Almost as much as the regular hardway bet payoff ($5 X 7 =$35) , with less risk. After a point is made, I then switch to the regular Hardway bets. I don't always Hop all 4 hardways on come out, Sometimes, 2 or just one of them, depending on if the table is hot or cold. Recently I hit a hard 4 on come out roll, betting $3 & the payoff was $90 (30 to 1) It's basically the same as betting the 2 or 12 One roll bet that a pair of identical dice show
This is how i normally play minus the field the bet. I normally play the pass with odds, hard ways and a 6 and 8. If i win i will add the 5 and 9, then 4 and 10. And just ride it out.
Hardways make me wanna barf, but I did play last night next to some guy in a Color Up hat who was playing the iron cross. I had my best session ever turning $200 into $1400!
Thanks for sharing the strategy! Unfortunantly it was jius a 6 &8 day for you. Definitely doesn't play well with hat strategy. But hey, like you said, if you can throw hardways, Good Luck. Great job though. Thanks.
So, a sufficiently sized Passline bet on the CO Roll can 'Edge' Prop bets just like a Stock Option does!, but it is still a negative expectations game.
Your videos have been a great resource for me so thank you. Why are the places bets "on" even before the point is established? I thought all hardways and placed bets are off until the point is established.
Place bets are always off by default, you can ask the dealer to have them working for come out roll. They usually mark with a little button to override the default. I mention this early in video I will have my bets always working. Hard way bets differ at each casino, some are on, some are off by default. I’ve seen it both ways.
Are there any $5 tables in vegas right now. Was just there a few weeks ago and lowest I saw was $15. Going again in the end of April and would like to play on a $5 table
Would seem more profitable, if at all, to just place a horn bet instead of a field bet. Only numbers not covered in horn is 4, 9 and 10, but if the 2, 3, 11, or 12 hit the winnings are 3 times more than straight field bet. I mean you lose if regular 4 and 10 roll so there is no "wash" but if you hit horn you can always increase bet by 5 more, and again, win way more than straight field bet. I always keep to myself when someone tosses money in field and screams when 2 and 12 hit, and they don't realize how much more they would have won putting it in the horn. Either way, both are sucker bets, I prefer to win more risking it on a horn sucker bet though. Just my opinion.
free drinks is not a reason to gamble like that. for ten bucks you could go to the store and get something decent. twenty five would get you most anything
@@twig4661 oh I’m not saying I would play this way. I do enjoy a long game session tho. I’ve started at 8pm and played till 8am with a bank roll of 100 bucks. Came out 100 bucks up and just had an amazing time. Sometimes it’s not about winning.
Not a good strategy. Thanks for trying it out A better hardway strategy is pick either the hard 4 or hard 10 Bet 5 bucks if it hits collect and stay at 5 bucks If it loses bet 15 If it loses bet 35 If it loses bet 75 If it loses bet 150 If it loses bet 300. Each hit just collect and return to 5 bucks.
I do understand but not all roles show the positive but this strategy looks like it's counterproductive get the 7 that's a winner but you lose all your hard ways and five and field so you win 5 lose 50. I 6 and 8 or very common number get a 8 or 6 you lose your hard way and you lose your field
The gap in this strategy is there is NO hedge... hard ways are worth it to keep working, but at a lower bet bc the odds are terrible for the player, but payout is good. But it should NOT be the only place you're betting
This strategy would work a lot better if instead of putting money into the field he would put it into the numbers and on the don’t pass. It would work a lot better if he would just bet the numbers that are the same as the hard ways and put maybe $25 on each of them and then five dollars on the hard way. Then put $25 + Odds on the don’t pass. That way if you hit it easy great if you hit it hard awesome, you get paid a lot more. And if the shooter hits a seven then you can get some back off the don’t. Sure, you will lose if they make the point very quickly, but if it’s a long roll even if they do make the point and you lose your don’t bet you’ll come out ahead… And as the role gets longer and longer you always have the option to pick up your don’t odds as you get ahead of the hand even though that’s normally a bad idea. That’s pretty much the only productive way to play the hard way.
Would like to see with the 6 and 8 placed for one unit. Seems like a big gap in this strategy. Thanks for showing
I just ran this with the 6 and 8 covered with 30 each and won 700 in about 40 min.
@@xg1johnson136 nice
What about only playing hard ways when point is a 4,6,8,10 or I'm missing something?
Replace the $25 on 5 with $12 on 6, $12 on 8 and $10 on 5. It’s an extra $9 on the table but you will cover the loss of the field bet plus win you a few bucks as well. It also minimizes the loss of the hard 6 and 8 of the soft numbers hit.

I think I would at least put $6 on the 6 and 8 so when you hit those you can replace the field and rack $2.
Why would you not play a soft eight and a soft six?
when you play a strategy because it sounds cool
Add a bonus bet like A/T/S, and you can call this strategy “The House Edge” 😂
not really a winning strat, but does seem to help you get back up when you do get a hardway or 5. At the start, you hit a couple of hardways and recoup some losses. I think i'd play this, but without a pass line or field bet. maybe $25 on 5 and 9, $5 on hardways, and then pray that the roll is hot.

Have you ever tried say $10 on pass line on come out roll also put $1 on 30 to 1 hard way, or $25 on come out roll and $5 on 30 to 1 hard way ect
I play something similar to that. Only when I do it I only use the eight and the six in the hard ways. I cover them with the big eight and big six. I collect every time I win. I start with a $200 stack of $5 chips. I'll run through the stack and see where I stand after.
I'll use the same strategy on a $10 table as well. I also use the same amount to start with. That way I get 40 bets on a $5 table and 20 bets on a $10 table
It's easier to watch and I bet you harvest more
You don't have to make another video just try and tell me what you find out 🤣
Seems to me that $5 on the 5 and $6 on the 6&8 would cover the Field bets better than $25 on the 5.
Looks like fun if you get tired of grinding some hedge strategy. Hitting a few 8-to-1 numbers would make you smile. I’d probably turn off on the come out just for a little stress relief. Have to say, that was just about the most unlucky sequence of numbers possible.
He hit the 5, what ONCE?
like any strategy its never full proof and can go south in a hurry, but if you want to go up and down and just throw dice for a while its not bad.
I think you gotta do a 1 unit 6 and 8. To often a double loser with the field and easy ways. At least this way you lose less
Any system is only as good as the roll is.
And water is wet
totally agree with you

I think this would be much better if you Placed the 6/8 for a unit. It would hedge the hardways/easy points.
I only do hardway with a piont of 6 or 8 when I'm up..
I'll do 10 then let it ride for 1000 payout really gets your blood pumping

If there is weakness in a Strat, I tend to roll it haha
Hey Jeremy, what chips do you use? Looking to buy some and like yours.
Thanks
Nexgen pro classic from Amazon, but most white and red chips have mostly been replaced by real casino chips from my collection

Thumbs down for strategy, but thumbs up for content.
Fair, I appreciate that
Just watched this video, what about a $1 hop bet on the easy 6 & 8 ???
The five hit twice I think? Maybe add odds bets.
You should have covered your bets by placing bets on the soft six and eight and bet on the 9 as well
After seeing the dice results, yep, easy decision
How much are we putting on hard ways? 1 unit?
you only rolled one 5 that whole time. i think the strategy is great if you can just roll even a couple more 5's
Gluton for punishment with this genie method
Field and hard ways are not very good bets

South point and Ellis island both off strip, don’t know of others, $10 downtown weekdays. Strip not sure anything below $15 anytime.

Play the hard ways, hedge them with 4,6,8,10 place with 4 and 10 buy, play field.
That’s a lot at risk right
Off the bat. But it seems like a good way to get a long session in. Free alcohol

A better hardway strategy is pick either the hard 4 or hard 10
Bet 5 bucks if it hits collect and stay at 5 bucks
If it loses bet 15
If it loses bet 35
If it loses bet 75
If it loses bet 150
If it loses bet 300. Each hit just collect and return to 5 bucks.

Rolling 2 doesnt lose all working bets on the come?
Only 7 loses all bets
Fun way to burn up those extra $1 chips with a potential to win some more.
Would work better with roller who sets his dice and throws more consistent hardways.
🤔
Dice setting is fake 😜🤪😜🤪 come at me bro lol
I saw a lady playing 25$ hardways. They kept giving her $165?? I hit 5 hardways shooting. I think I will try it.
Put a place bet on the 8
I don’t usually see 5 hit, so I’d play this without a line without a 5 and put 25$ on the 9
This strategy would work a lot better if instead of putting money into the field he would put it into the numbers and on the don’t pass.
Videos are always great, however , this would not be a strategy for me, as all tables near me are $15.00 , cheers, well done
6 8 press would have been the strategy today.
Great video but not something I'd play alone
Why wouldn’t you press your hard way once you hit it ?
? Not part of this particular strategy I guess
Only rolling one 5 really hurt this system.
Wow, not one 5, nothing but 6 & 8, that's unusual.
@-10 when the 1 7 hit
Yeah nope, this strategy is way to risky. I only bet hardware on 6 and 8 when 6 and 8 is my piont.
Many players agree with you.
Horrible strategy in my opinion. There are too many holes in it, and the profit isn't enough to get you ahead unless you get consistent hard ways.
This is a lazy or cheap "Cross" ignoring the 3 most rolled numbers, 6-8-7....An inevitable Loser
Not to good of a strategy
I think u have to move your pass line to a DC nd that 25 break it to a hedge
