    A good idea is the old rubber car mat draped over whatever side you pulling or letting line out off to stop hooks going in or spines

    I am moving to NZ from OZ in 3 weeks. lucky enough to have work sending me over. Its going to be a permanent move and I cant wait to get into everything outdoors NZ style! To bloody hard to live a hunting life here but that is my concern no longer! Maybe see you in the bush one day Clay.

      +Clay Tall Stories North island around Tauranga but hopefully south in the near future. I will however travel to where ever I need to when ever I can for everything and anything that gets me outdoors. Cant wait for the adventure to begin!

    Nice clip. Glad to see all is well with you (and Josh James). If anyone should be able to handle advirsety it's you blokes.
    Great tunes, some of your music reminds me of Spirit of the West (great B.C. band). Stan Rogers is another Canadian that has some amazing songs. Poor fellow died saving passengers off an Air Canada flight. Waste of a beautiful musician and passenger.

      @ClayTallStories  8 років тому

      Hi Rob. I looked him up just now. Awesome music. He writes about real stuff. Lost his life trying to save another. An honorable death.

    • @t89841313
      @t89841313 8 років тому

      Thanks for checking him out. Been a fan for years ; one of the best folk icons IMO in Canadian history. Really should be there with Cohen and Lightfoot. One of my best memories is sitting in the common area, over in Bosnia, singing Barret's privateers with the Catholic padre strumming a guitar. Little piece of home when deployed with the army.
      His wife and son still play the odd venue in Ontario.

    great clip Clay. love the set line. unfortunately I am not allowed to use them in Perth WA. max 3 hooks per line.keep up the great vids and songs

    • @ClayTallStories
      @ClayTallStories  8 років тому

      Yeah Perth has much better laws in place for protecting it's fishery than we do in NZ. I also don't think you are allowed to fish in the spawning season for snapper?correct me if I am wrong? Its silly that we are allowed to fish at a time when they are reproducing here in NZ.

      Thanks mate. Just like your life and everyone's life, my life is made up of hundreds of little stories. For one part of my life I worked in the Irish Pubs in Europe as a singer for 13 years. I came home even sounding Irish. While working in an Irish pub in Krete this little story was born . ua-cam.com/video/7fzvAyL6n4Y/v-deo.html

    Ty for awesome vid bro. FYI Made in China don't always equate to "shit". A good example is iPhones are made in China with with great QC tolerances, the same general rule applies of u pay for what u get regardless of where it's made. Wishing u and your family a safe and happy 2017 mate :)
