Lyrics:
Cano tasay noni, cano nimono
Kimah strata taday dato, nimo stprey datoo
Cano tasay noni cano nimono
Kamay sitodo lada nibonimoe
Kahmen di sono soda nimo,
Kahmen mayto no sildo hisa day astro
Misa day niatoe
Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah no tashano ni to no nimono
valmay sahano nada
Ah-Ah-Ah
ahhhhh AHHHHHHHHHHH!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Translation:
I am the voice that calls your name
I am searching for you, love
I am searching for you
Where has love gone?
Nothing remains
Only blood
And sadness prevail
My heart bleeds for you, for you
I crawl in...in darkness
I am the voice
Of love that cannot live
Yet it doesn't die
Never!
Such anime happens once every few years for about 1000 other mediocre titles. I watched it 3 times in 2008, in 2015 and 2020 I come here on a regular basis and listen to this beautiful voice.
I can absolutely understand, this song also brings me today real cold run down the spine. This song describes the absolute tragedy of Diva. Was mich erschreckt, that many youngerAnime-Fans do not even know or watch this masterpiece.
This and Hajis song every so often when I'm feeling down.
Where do you watch it ???
to this day its my favorite anime, so many good songs, amazing story. i have to re-watch this masterpiece soon
The last episode broke my heart cause it seemed to finally show that they were forced to kill each other because of other peoples desires, but in reality Diva just wanted a family that could be found in Saya and Saya wanted a friend who could understand what it was like to outlive everyone she cared about. But it was not ment to be, so Diva killed Sayas loved ones to have Saya and Saya forgot her past to escape the pain. So tragic :'(
I know this is gonna sound mean but can u just shut up an not make me cry rite now please I love this an it really opened my eyes to opera so you kno leave me alone ( n stuff)
@@kyrashenell😂😂😂 jeez relax everyone has the right to comment
I hated her until the very end...then I just sobbed...bitterly. Apart from Inuyasha, Blood+ was my first actual anime series that I watched in it's entirety (unlike Inuyasha)...and lemme tell you...I cried like a fucking baby. This makes it on the list for one of the most emotional anime's I've ever seen...
+NadiaNoodles ! I cried like a lil bitch at the end...dammit
yees exactly.
That's why I'm making a video with Diva and of course Suigintou
Artistic_Arsenal 1 Same! Inuyasha and Blood was my 2 very first animes! I miss them dearly and wish I could watch them for the first time again 😭😭
try monster
I always liked Diva, she is definitely one of my favorite anime Villains with a really good origin
story
+NekoYoake95 And also her dead is different... Don't know how to describe it in english. But it really made me sad the way she died... :'(.
i know, it was so sad!!
Diva's song is one of the most difficult and one of the most technical villain songs I have ever heard both in anime and in western cartoon. In fact I don't remember a single villain singing opera style yet alone to this range! This song that probably is meant to resemble the beauty and the danger of a siren's call and also the way it is full of emotions and the powerful feelings she had been bottling up inside her!
Diva is definitely a villain everyone loves to hate and at the same time I think it is fair to say that Diva knew no love in her life. No one apart from Nathan and James truly loved her and when she found love in their face it was already too late for her. She had already forged her personality and it was all out of bitterness.
She knew no love and so she could show no love. Saya lived in light and so she had sense of responsibility but Diva was never given the entity she had as a person. She never knew what responsibility was. When she was out of prison all she knew was the feeling of vengeance and also the desire to liv her life to the fullest and later on to make a family of her own. The sad thing is that all her plan, all that bloodshed was so she could create a world of Chiroptera so her babies wouldn't be treated like monsters like she was or like tools like Saya was.
As much as I rooted for Saya I never agreed with her obsession for destruction especially of her sister. What Nathan had said it was correct that she only wanted a family of her own. She just didn't know how to show it. Unfortunately though the bloodbath she had created was not forgivable. And yet no one had ever taught her right from wrong. She didn't have the chance...
I agree with everything you said. When I watched the series and read some chapters of the manga, I actually felt bad for her. Saya experienced bad things too but at least she had people who genuinely loves her and experienced normalcy, Diva didn't...
I agree with you wholeheartedly, which is why she is one of my favorite villains and monsters of all time
@@airotiv7916 Agreed! She is one of my favorite too!
@@whateverLOOOL Yeah and no matter what there is the factor or choice. She has been through a lot with the uprooting from her home, being used as a tool etc but somewhere, apart from the destruction of her home, all the others had been her choice. And she had lived her childhood (and perhaps more than just childhood) in a good home with actual family and she was even loved. Diva was not as lucky for her first memories are of her being treated like an object or animal by humans and even her first chivalier never loved her and saw her as an experiment. Diva was also never shown any affection but also never taught a thing. No one taught her "stop this" don't do that" or the difference between right and wrong. And in her life in freedom none of her chevalier ever tried to teach her. Half of them because they didn't really care and the other half because they wanted to please her.
Also if you think of the plot about half of her chivalier were more interested in Saya than they were on her which could probably be yet another thing that was killing her inside. It is not random that Diva created around a dozen of chevalier throughout her life while Saya only created two (and the one was out of necessity and not because she wanted). Diva wanted company.
Saya was also taught responsibility and empathy. Diva was never taught that and because of her life she was not much willing to learn either.
Yes. I cant forgive Saya for killing her own sister ...
This was my first anime.
you should watch elfen lied tgen great anime (its extremely violent but heart touching at same time)
manga is better ..... way way better *-* ...
me too
Marian Garcia same
This was my first real bloody anime
I still remember on what she did to the poor boy Riku...😢😢😢
After she had sex(or Rape what y'all call it she gave him her blood and he died(dried o-up sorry)misspell that but he died!(but i know some of y'all know that by now,watching it again because i can(bored and wait but this brings back mer-memories sorry again lol.😋
I know Diva is the villain here and all, and while watching the anime I had that thought of wanting diva to fall down a cliff and never climbing back up. But even though thinking this there is still that place in my heart that loves her. Her loneliness and sorrow, her love and joy that cannot be expressed. I love all of her and more.
Diva is furthest away from the villain in this series although she was portrayed as one. Look at her brothers and the rest of the chevaliers and relealize where the evil roots.
My greatest regret is loving Solomon. Whyyyyyy did he have to die. He went in such a pathetic, lonely way too, dying in an alley, tsk..... RIP my Prince~
Saraf Anjum I thought I was the only one to fall in love with him :o He was my first 2D crush :D
@@TamishraBiswas dw. Pretty sure he's like no.1 husbando in this anime.
OMG SAMEE it hurts until now but still my tears wont still come out
In the novel he doesn’t die
literally
Well you might recall Nathan speaking to Amshel, he stated that "There was Diva's mother and her ever loyal Chevalier." He gave that answer when Amshel mentioned how he could know certain things about before Diva's birth. Nathan probably wanted a dramatic end to the last of Diva's loyal Chevalier, knowing full well that one of their mothers blood could not be killed by one of them. Nathan's sense of drama was Magnificent.
It’s 2021 and I just rewatched the whole series and still nothing enthralls me and tears at my heart like this show does. The only bad thing I can say about this show is that it was too short and obviously rushed
The lyrics is pretty dark... it fits her character. She lived pretty much without love or someone showing her love in her life, and that's why she ended up how she is. Thus, I really can't hate her. Instead I felt bad for her...
Maybe She was Misunderstood?
she did want a family of her own. she wanted children. but Amshel kept her captive. she knew very well what was going on and what she was kept for (they wanted to make money off her) above everything she wanted to be free
I would learn to sing opera just so i could sing this song.
To be honest this is probably one of the reasons I like opera so much and decided to learn how to sing it when I was in high school 😂
2024, still love this.
I remember my best friend was obsessed with anime back in the day. He LOVED blood+. I eventually gave it a try, as a "Meh if it shuts him up..." and I ended up loving the show. We had many passionate arguments and debates about Diva and Saya.
I played this in one window and Saya's in another and it sounds like they were meant to be played together...
I just tried it and it sounded magnificent.. I couldn't even tell it was 2 different songs!! they synched up so perfectly!
play Saya's song at 1/3 the volume you have divas song... then let Saya's song play 6 seconds then turn on divas song they sync up better this way and the instruments from songs sound layered...Saya's sings louder so it is important to play hers with less volume.
S O'Starra
Oh wow, thanks!
No problem hope it worked out well
S O'Starra
Yes It sounds great, thanks again ^.^
Her voice... is the most incredible voice I have ever heard and she's not even a professional opera singer. I feel the hope in her voice, the despair, and loss. I felt she sung of love that she could never possess and because of it she was lost in her anguish but lived on despite it all. Funny the lyrics entail exactly that. human language is sublime when it can show such wonderful emotion despite language barriers.
+Marcus Gabourel Are you kidding me? She;s not professional @_@. Damn. But she sings so good!
Over a century of practice... that's her secret.
The singer is a professional tho.
The singer is actually a professional singer.... her name is Elin Carlson xD
Elin Carlson is a professional singer and also there was plenty of auto tuning done here and there if I am not mistaken.
Diva has to be one of the most cruel and complex anime characters I’ve seen so far and I’ve been in love with her ever since I watched blood +. Her and all of her flaws and perfections. Her sickness, her emotionless expressions, her reasons behind doing all that she did. I understand and tho I do not feel they were right nor justified I completely understand why she was like that. If you haven’t seen blood+ you should most definitely watch it
Better vampire story then twilight and music
What's the title of this song
What about seraph of the end?
True it îs way better
2019, and this anime is my #1 since childhood
15 years after I watched this anime for the first time I discover Hans Zimmer was the producer of this soundtrack. dang.
I remember when I was young and watched the whole series for the first time, and when Diva died I BAWLED and writ in my diary about it... Lol. But every time I hear the very beginning of the song I can't help but cry a bit like before. "All she wanted was a family of her own" :,(
2020 can't get much worse . . .
*This plays*
She gained my hate. But somehow she didn't deserved it.
I agree with u
When Nathan Explained everything I felt sad for her
Yeah...
All Diva wanted was a family
@@cunningsmile4166 she got one...kinda
She would have lived a happy life like Saya if those @$$holes didn't treat her badly!!
Ayato Yuuzaki *Agreed*
Your right.
Her childhood is not Saya's fault though. I agree with the other half of your statement though.
It doesn't make sense, Joel was a rich dude in a mansion, Surely it wouldn't be a hassle to raise them both, But we both know saya and Diva were both treated as test subjects both by Amshel and Joel
Hanzo Shimada His entire property was an experimental base. The 2 girls just became test subjects for a bored old man and his never ending supply of money.
Here is a tip to anyone...
play Saya's song at 1/3 the volume you have divas song... then let Saya's song play 6 seconds then turn on divas song they sync up better this way and the instruments from songs sound layered...Saya's sings louder so it is important to play hers with less volume.
so in love with this ...
The lyrics .. the voice... simply wonderful.
(the anime had me crying for days...)
Nana Hachiko hnigahiga korean
Hearing it puts me at peace. Its so beautiful.
Yet another anime which I like the villain more than the main character. If Saya was the one been locked away on the tower while Diva was the one living outside, would Saya becomes someone like Diva and vice versa? I wonder if this ever cross Saya's mind lol.
That Was Kind Of The Point Of The Experiment: To See What Would Happen To These Monster "Queens",If One Was Raised With Love And Everything She Could Ever Want And The Other Was Raised With Nothing. Not Even A Name. The Results Were That One Would Become A Sociopath And The Other Would Not. Proving That,Despite Being Monster They Have The Same Minds As Humans.
nico jack interesting
If only a psychologist was a fan of this show. Then we could get an answer
@cleo charle most interesting. But could another factor be in their caretakers?
@@JT5555 love this show
I remember when I first saw this on Netflix and then it got removed o how I’ve been looking for it even since ☹️
Hmm to chyba bardzo dawno mam netflixa od 2019 roku i wtedy już blood + tam nie było.
i played a game in nokia when i was in elementary, it was named blood+ and i had a good time playing the story. forward to highschool, i suddenly remember it. i also remember seeing the "aniplex" in opening credits, so i assumed it has an anime.
fast forward 3 years and i decided to check it out. see the game's fullstory before my eyes. 2 weeks forward until tonight, i finished it. i will never regret watching this. not once.
I remember how hard it was not to break down when Diva died and Saya started crying.
I would hate it if I lost my sister after I finally realized I loved her, after so many years of hating and fighting each other.
Blood + is very underrated it's really a very good anime
la última nota ningun ser humano es capaz de hacerla jajajaja.. ese agudo es imposible.. increible como canta esta mujer
Soledad Villalba solo un kyroptero puede
3:20 that image made me cry so hard 😭😭
The dream she never got to have.
Lo maximo DIVA❤
Que recuerdos de ANIMAX
estefany ville que anime es
rene galmich Blood+
Total era tan feliz y no lo sabía recuerdos de estos me llega cusndo compraba un sándwich cubano en la esquina de la casa lo comía con. Mi abuelo y ese olor de fabuloso aroma bebé recuerdo a full metal alchemist y ver el final de Dante fue tan satisfactorio xD
Diva's song is so hauntingly beautiful, I get chills.
3:14 -3:37 is so dark and atmospheric (well, the whole song is, that part especially.)
It almost makes me think of the Dark Knight, or something Batman related!
It has been years ever since I first watched this, but I became so addicted to this song that until now I still hum it unconsciously. Definitely one of the most beautiful villain songs in the world of anime.
It is now 2021. I still think this song is amazing. I still think this anime is great. And it will always be that way.
love it so much
I hear her pain and loneliness
I can hear in her song that she hated being alone and locked away in a dark place
never had a family of her own never treated fare
she filled with hate and pain
she wanted a family and she became so evil she did bad stuff.
she just never know to be around or be human and never learned how to treat people or how to have a family
I love this song
and I love the anime blood
Alison Wright blood....plus ^^
I can feel it being deep already
music are what feelings sound like
the beat of our souls hearts beating with the sounds the feelings some do not know how to say but music can always help find that way so people will know
Diva is a good villiane name.
(Saya)MY IS EVIL!
(Diva)Not EVIL Sister Thirsty!
Diva only felt fear twice in her life. Leaving the tower and the moment of her death.
I would love to see Elin Carlson do a live rendition of this.
I was watching some of it before getting here.
TT-TT diva!!!!! What happen to rikus' babies!!! Why isn't there a new series about the twins???T-T I wanna see hajis sexiness again !!!!!!
UA-cam pulling up Blood+ from the depths of oblivion to my recommendations is such a nostalgia whiplash
Как же прекрасно...
это ещё одна важная причина за что я полюбили и люблю это Аниме
Blood fue mi primer anime y siempre fue y será mi favorito
Went to a meme compilation on UA-cam, heard the song. And without a doubt I looked this glorious masterwork of art up. And whatdya know its been 12 years or so give or take since I last watched this anime. And it was sure enough her song.
Where did you saw the meme?
hermosa la voz de diva sin duda unos de mis personajes favoritos de esta serie
Still my favorite character in this series 💙💙💙
2019, wer u at guys?
Same
(Saya)MY SISTER IS EVIL!
(Diva)Not EVIL Sister Thirsty!
I had this song on a burned mix CD which I found six years ago. It included the entire Blood + soundtrack. I had no idea that this was Diva's song or that the songs on the CD were from Blood + until I recently watched the anime. Now I can finally find all the song titles on the CD! :D Thanks for uploading this. ^_^
Im interested in the harmony of this song as its so beautifully harmonized
“I am the voice of love that cannot live
Yet it doesn’t die.”
These are some of the translated lyrics. This struck me the most.
I pray for a new season, it was my favorite series so far, im crying because there isnt any more episodes... :(((
you can thanks me later: Blood#
Diva very underrated Villain Vampire
My love for this anime will never die
Ok, im trying to find this one anime op that had an awsome opera op and was very pitched ranged from this really kinda old game based anime. I remember the op had a green turning purple crystal and was based around something called coal firempits which turned people into monsters and two characters a guy who wanted to become a guard origionally till bro died in sting op and a delivery truck driver who was on the run because the other guy/boy put a rebel package in his truck on accident. Had it faved but then the vids were taken down and deleted. It was I think either a 2017 or 18 yeared anime.
Amazing theme, woww that voice.
I miss the days when I use to watch this everyday till the end and I'll still watch it till the day
A beautifull demon with an angel's voice.
Pure, beautiful, outrage.
My favorite opera singer 😂
I always felt so much sympathy for Diva; she was treated like an animal for her entire childhood and probably had God knows what done to her by Amshel during that time, is it any wonder she turned out the way she did? Granted, that doesn't excuse most of the terrible things she did (especially what she did to Riku); but it certainly does explain a lot of it.
And in the end, she died without ever really feeling loved or getting to see her babies.
She really was a tragic villain.
Lilium vibes
One of the best Opera compositions
I actually felt sorry for Diva.
Diva wasn't evil, she was just the antagonist. She wanted the same as Saya, security for her family and race it just so happen that Saya was more human than chyropteran.
FEELS
This song hurts me deep inside as im listening, a piercing pain and its as if i can feel the suffering of Diva herself echoing from her angelic voice.
12 years ago and still slayin' 😍😍
My obsession with Diva was unhealthy!
this song is awsome and very sad but it makes you feel a lot
In the great words of Bane "What a lovely, lovely voice"
Это прекрасно, шедеврально! Сейчас бы в современное аниме такие треки. Да и в принципе такое аниме!
I watched it halfway through before but now I finished it... the most painful memories I have with this song is everything that happened to Riku, having his friend becoming an enemy as with those innocent children and the rape. Same goes for Diva who just wants a family but never experienced it in that tower, shaping her sad personality
二人とも又いつか人間に生まれ変わって中のいい姉妹になって欲しい‼️👊😭✨♪ (#^ー°)v❣️💕
I don't know why.. but I get chill whenever I listen to this.. but I love this song... ✌😌
This was beautiful, but I wish she had a few more songs, and that the singing animation was better. It never looked like the sound came from her.
I love singing parts of this in my tenor voice, although being a spinto there's parts I have way more difficulties reaching without too much pressure.
I just love it! idk what is that voice called ..opera? (excuse my terrible English) but that is amazing!!
Diva was never and will never be a villain. The only villains in that story are the ones that abused their discovery.
canta hermoso... amo su voz ...amo el anime ...amo a diva ...
ahhhmmm *-*
In my opinion What she did with Riku it was poetic justice. The purest innocence has to be sacrificed instead of one's deepest scar. Purely fascinating!! Diva's song was kinda Siren.
ohhh se paso que vozzz!!!!, es unica pero lastima que nadie eceptuando de quienes vimos la serie la conosca...
ouh gosh.... i still love it, was watchin thsi years ago
2022?
For those of you who liked this show, I'd recommend the manga. It told the story in a different way, and the ending was just as sad as the one in the anime. SPOILER While the anime focuses more on how Diva wanted kids, or a family, the manga focuses on how all that Diva wanted was for Saya to be with her and love her. I prefer the manga and how it focuses on this aspect of Diva. Also, they made a show called Blood-C that is like a spin-off of Blood+. Still, the characters are totally different.
Diva ❤
I really love Diva. And her song made me love singing
Es como un hermoso ángel con un infierno de fondo
矢島さんが口ずさむ「ディーバ」の歌声もなかなかいい。
This was such a good story until they messed everything up after the attack on the Red Shield HQ. They missed so many golden opportunities and stumbled badly at the finish line. Riku could have switched sides. Solomon too for that matter. Too many personality changes in the final arc, it was annoying. The Schiff were a pretty weak subplot. James Ironside dies and then somehow comes back, only to - die again. The whole tension with Haji keeping his "promise" to Saya gets tossed aside for a drawn out and maudlin final episode.
+OroborusFMA You are a genius. I mean blood+ is already a god tier anime but with your critque I do feel like blood+ can achieve a higher level. What you pointed out will indeed improve blood+ by a lot. THe final arc does lack transition.
I know I feel the same. I planning to give my take after I watch it again. But I think they had too many plot holes like hagi's hand why...Riku why could he hear voices before he became a chipotorean...the whole thing with Saya being awaken which wasn't that big of a deal, and don't get me started on that end fight
THANK U SOOOOOOO MUCH 4 giving the DL link i LOVE this song its so relaxing soothing and calming ima listen to it constantly
3:25...Perfection...
This song is amazing! I never thought I liked an opera piece so much.
I feel like the lyrics are making reference to her love to Saya
This song gives me the chills! I absolutely love it.
Damn 16 yrs ago
This song goes deep into you soul and show the whole tragedy of diva... blood+ a anime .... that cant descripe in words.
ディーヴぁの方がかわいい
i love diva shes so beautiful and her voice goes so along with her beauty though her life was difficult she maintained her tremendous beauty
