I have had this knife for a while and i love it. It feels great in the hand in any grip and it's the perfect size to be able to handle most tasks without being too big and rambo-like. Mine also came with perfect fit and finish, which is a lot rarer than ppl might think. I have owned dozens of different knives and most usually come with at least some small blemishes or issues. The only brands I've ever had that had flawless finishing were chris reeve, TRC and lionsteel, and lionsteel are considerably less expensive than those other two brands but every bit as well made. Outstanding value for money. IMO this knife is the perfect size for all your camping needs. I highly recommend it.
Good question Mathieu. It does have some slight texturing (dimpling) on the wooden scales but it provides very little traction. The finish over the dimpling is still slick. If I were to get another I would try the micarta handle.

Mine didnt want to bite wood until i reprofile the edge. Lionsteel really have that problem. Now I made 20 degree micro convex edge, it is fine.
Definitely have to make that edge your own!
Great review thank you very much
Thanks for watching Jose!
Very nice.
Thanks John!
Hi. just a simple question. is the wooden handle grippy or just slippery?
