It's honestly not fair, and somewhat criminal, that a band like this keeps churning out songs as great as this one and still fly somewhat under the radar. This is one of my favorite songs in recent memory and I tell all my friends and co-workers about this wonderful band. My god. This song is amazing.
I feel exactly the same about these guys...I wonder how massive commercial success would change them though...Would love to see them sell out arenas though.
Jimmy Timmy They really deserve all the success there is, but I also wonder how it would change if they got it. I love going to shows that are smaller where you feel like a part of the music and can easily meet or talk to the band. But I do live outside of Scranton, so it's easy to go to their shows pretty often.

I lived in Jersey for 22 years and had my heart broken by plenty of Jersey girls...I used to tour in a band and we used to play the Wonder Bar. This song really brings me back to the days of touring around Jersey, falling in love with a new girl at every show

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. This song is incredible but I wouldn't say this band has "two of the greatest albums of the 21st century." Yeah, their an exceptional band, but there's been some amazing albums to come out just this year, let alone the last sixteen...
They have On The Impossible Past which was in Absolutepunk's Top 10 albums of the century so far by popular vote and Rented World was also in the top 25. I seriously would say they already have two of the greatest albums of the 21st century. This would be a third.

Every now and then I find a song that I connect with on a level that i'll play it over and over, and this is my new one! Everything about this song is so good, singing, guitar tone, mix, lyrics and the feel. I had such a good time when i used to hang with these guy's. I'm soooo happy they took off the way they did.
Ten days later and I've only listened to this song 150 times. I need to step my game up.

Agreed. I still enjoyed Rented World, and it had some great songs, but this is their best since OTIP. Song is excellent.
+Brandon Allin Oh for sure it was still a good album. I think Rodent is probably one of their best songs, despite being my least favorite release by them. Honestly though, if every song on After The Party is as good as this, it will surely stack up to On The Impossible Past.
OTIP is the best Menzingers record, but RODENT might be the best Menzingers song.

Rented World had some greats, but ultimately left me wanting after OTIP, so stoked for this new record. Their Straight to Hell cover will always have a special place in my heart though.
