Millicent Garrett Fawcett was one of the leading figures in the fight for women’s suffrage.
A portrait of her by noted female artist and suffrage campaigner Annie Swynnerton has been recently acquired for UK Parliament by the Speaker’s Advisory Committee on Works of Art. 🎨
This is the first-ever representation of the celebrated suffragist to join the #ParliamentaryArtCollection.
