My home province,Prince Edward Island, held a huge country music festival last weekend; some of the biggest names in the genre have played there over a decade, and I'm more convinced every year that none of them are good enough to carry Jason Isbell's guitar.
I'm 30, and I was raised listening to country and gospel. And in my teens I starting listening to emo and punk. And the last few years of my "adult years" listen to all of that stuff along with some other stuff but Jason Isbell is by far the best song writer that I've ever heard in my opinion.
