- We had to call Fluffy when we reached her area and she immediately showed up. I refilled her empty water dish and her empty dry food dish. Jay put cat treats down on the groundcover and when Fluffy finished the cat treats, she joined Jay, who was finishing putting down her breakfast.
Several of the Whispering Hills Ranch horses were on one of the pastures this morning. Two horses were having a confrontation and returned to the side corral area. A male horse was letting a female know he was interested in her and her kick with her left hind leg let him know she was not so inclined.
One of Whispering Hills Ranch's Peacocks was on the Golden tree, which does not look golden now, as all the leaves have fallen. I made a short video of him before we continued our walk.
Kali was on the decorative fence at the Lutheran Church and when she saw Jay, heading to the side walkway, she jumped down off the fence and headed in that direction. As usual, she waited a short distance from Jay, while he put the cat food and cat treats down on the walkway. When Jay walked away, she headed to the food and began eating.
After we arrived at Alviso Adobe Park, Jay stopped next to the adobe home and made a video of the male Dark Morph RedTailed Hawk on the Sycamore tree. We did not see his mate this morning. There were several very interested sparrows waiting for us to put the various food on the picnic table. After we finished setting out the food, we stepped back and I turned on my camera and didn't have to wait long for the White-crowned Sparrows, Golden-crowned Sparrows, White-throated Sparrows and White-throated Sparrow to fly to the table and to the ground below.
On our return trip, Jay spotted the white Peahen and her white Peachick at Whispering Hills Ranch. The Peahen was perched on the chain-link fence and the Peachick was on the hay bale next to the fence. While I did not see the male Peachick, I was certain he was nearby as he stays close to his momma.
Fluffy greeted us as we were reaching her area. Jay put down more cat treats, which Fluffy ate. Her breakfast of can Whitefish and Tuna and dry cat food moistened by the juices of the can cat food, was well eaten. Our cats also like the fish canned cat food.
