Like you say there's very little about these online in English. Strange because Beta trials bikes have always been popular here. So thank you for the video.
Hello Rusnietis, many thanks for your video. Could you tell me which are its cruise and top speeds in 6th gear on road? The term "cruise speed" means the acceptable speed that won't arm the engine in the long run which is generally reached at circa 4/5000 revs per minute on that kind of bike. Thanks again!
Hello @Frederic. With stock gearing (15/52) cruise speed is about 80kmh acoording GPS (almost 100kmh according speedo). Max speed is about 120kmh,but there is an issue, that stock carb runs out of fuel at max speed in few kilometres :) Just drastically changed gearing to 15/40, but not yet tried on the road, just arround garage, will see how it goes :)
Thanks for a good look at this bike and a quick spin around your trails. Beta makes this and the X-Trainer in similar displacements. I think both are sold the US. Can you tell what are the differences between the ALPS and the X-Trainer? I am looking for a trail bike that is focused on single track, technical riding. So light weight, well balance and nice, broad power band. Any ideas?
ALP350 comes with old Suzuki DR350 engine, so bike is middleweight and not oriented to technic stuff, but can keep up with big boys when in good hands. Xtrainer has ergonomics of hard enduro bike, but is lower, much less power and much plushier suspenssion than full hard enduro bike. It goes very well, just dont like speed.
Did not ride it yet, just sit on it during exhibition. Feels very very similar to older model. If will have ability to try it - will upload new video ;)
Sveikas, gal gali patikslinti kokio motociklo priekinis zibintas su sparnu yra uzdetas ant tavo Betos? Nes video sakai, kad Honda 300RR, bet tokio modelio nera. As noriu pats pasikeisti ant savo Beta alp 4.0
Suklydau sakydamas. Zibintas Beta 300rr hardo. Bet, kad ji eitu uzdeti reikia nupjaut metalini originalaus zibinto laikikli (kuri po to is bedos vel eina uzdeti).
Have a look here, you will find a lot of interesting information about your Alp 4.0: www.betabikes.de/betabikes-de-projekte/alp-4-0-pro and here: www.betabikes.de/kunena/alp It´s in German, but with the help of Google translate...
I think it all depends on where you live and what you do with it. Back home, where we have no mountains, most guys drive XT660 or similar, so ALP4.0 is very light compared to that. In mountains ALP200 must be great. If it's sandy pit, ALP200 is useless, and 4.0 is fairly good.
@@Simone_songwriter well, of course driver is 90% responsible for final result. If we take two equal drivers, there is no replacement for displacement in sand ;)
Very usefull materiał and good comments. Tkanks. 😀👍
Glad it was helpful!

Very nice video and sure helpful for anyone considering this motorcycle. I have an alp200 2018 model and i love it. It goes really everywhere.
Thanks for the video! What do you think of the 2023 Beta Alp 4.0??

Hi, could you tell me what the top speed is on the highway /cruising speed and what bearing you have ?
Thanks Rob g
Hello Rob. Cruising speed is around 80kmh with 12/40 sprockets. These sprockets are almost the same as 15/52 OEM sprockets.
@@rusnietis thanks 👍

I'm sorry but it's too heavy....the only alp that you have to buy is Alp 200

@@rusnietis in my case I did better in the Sand pit against my friend in the 4.0
