deathkult I love that I came across your comment because I’m a metal head myself, and was on a Vader kick today, but so much music speaks to me. First time I ever heard this song was at a yoga studio I used to work at where I joined a breath work circle....laying on the floor...actively belly breathing and this song came on and my body just had an emotional reaction I didn’t know I needed. Started crying even though I was in a fine mood before. Leaking out of places I didn’t know I needed to unleash from lmao. Was amazing . i have randomly met him twice in my life, once in the festival ground at wood ford, and once at the end of shift at Brisbane airport. first time i got a hug and a photo, second time he got a simple thank you. life got harder in those 6 years. i wonder where ill be the next time i bump into him.

Now I'm listening to his songs in the background and...I just had the same experience as you. I don't think I've ever been moved in such a way by a song... The only thing that came close was the first time I saw Leonard Cohens live performance of Suzanne at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970.
I see what you mean, but I am more inclined to say "That man has found his voice", we are all full of humanity (I use the word instead of "spirit", we just each of us need to want to speak it, and to find our voice. I appreciate reading your comment though.

This man is really putting out what he believes here in front of such a lowly crowd. Its amazing that he keeps his energy throughout the show even with his eyes closed

And besides it is hard to say how the crowd received it if you have not been there personally.
The camera never shows any shot from solely the receiving end, which I personally appreciate for a change.
On another personal note, I think the audience was moved but consisted mostly out of elderly people who are les able to expres themselves clearly.. otherwise he wouldn't be able to go this deep into himself, if they were off somewhere else with their minds for example.. in the end audience and performer merge into one and that is where life happens.
Which is just my perspective on things, feel free to hold onto Yours but I strongly disagree this being a lowly crowd.
I am an Australian Environmental Scientist and I would love to see Aboriginal wisdom apart of environmental policy. Have the elders show us the way but the government are criminals for treating their wisdom like it's a bunch of fairy tales. Respect to the Aboriginal community. Beautiful people!

This song is so incredibly touching... it brings tears to my eyes. And whilst there are MANY awesome songs out there, I don't think any have felt quite like the "religious experience" that this song does. Truly, Xavier has tapped into something deep within the human story; right down at where our true roots lie.
I wish I could express it in a better way... but all I can do is shed another tear, at the emotion and passion within this great song.

I'm 69 last May I live in a ALF for the mentally ill .I joined the army in America because of john Kennedy ,ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country .The gentle protest of friends Joan Baez's , what have they done to the rain ,this.is such a long struggle that was back in the beginning of the 60ties ,thanks for the encouragement .That this land belongs to the people they are our waters and our coastlines and our forest and we don't see them as someones way to get rich but a place we are all are rich when we attune to the nature spirits that are mantled by these natures who for now are hidden from view but exist non the less .For this I'm called insane .
