Paul started out by writing great rock and roll songs. It was what he and John were all about. Then, as George said, "In 1966, something big happened". Paul was killed. "He blew his mind out in a car; he didn't notice that the lights had changed, a crowd of people stood and stared, they'd seen his face before, nobody was really sure if he was from the House of Lords".
From that time on, Faul began to write weepy, slimy, cringeworthy "ballads". He continues in this vein. He became a nothing. The band fell apart. Why do you think George talks about "Faul"? Why do you think his one-legged ex-wife speaks about how someone very close to her betrayed her in a huge way, but she can't talk about it? It's obvious she's talking about Willy Campbell, or whatever his name is.
Someone below says that he began to write great songs, so maybe he is the genius, and not McCartney. Remember that all of this music comes from an infernal realm; these guys do not write these songs, they are given to them. There is much more to the Beatles' story than we know, which the writer of their biography refers to, he says there is a supernatural element at work here.
    He is correct.

His post beatles output was less focused but the same could be said for all of them. the later songs are often more varied. No one can ever maintain their best work when they did it early on. But they can flare up a lot if they are lucky. Mccartney had at least 7 #1's and many hit albums and people buy them now after decades in updated formats. History is proving you wrong. give his songs another listen. some need time to deliver fully with repeat listens. Same with lennon and harrison and manyu other older artists by the way/

There is SO much proof that there are more than one Paul that its hard to believe that these people comment so ugly about there only being one. Just put pictures side by side and a school child could see they are different people. He has written a book The memoirs of Billy Shears i think it's called that somewhat explains it. I think there were multiple Johns also just going by pics. Now I'm sure some one will send an ugly reply who has never taken the time to look into this matter. I'm just wondering if his real name is just William Shepherd but has gone by Paul McCartney? I mean I've seen 2 short video's where he's referred to as 'William' & one where George Harrison does refer to him as 'Faul', so the fact that the name 'Faul' has been around since the early 70's may in fact be just that. Paul McCartney is a stage name & also a corporation & yes,he has to maintain the name, since the 1.2 billion pound or dollar, [not sure which one] could be a very messy court case. That's just me & hey, I've bought books & read 1/3 of The Memoirs of Billy Shears, free on my Amazon Prime leads me to believe that there's something to this whole thing. Last, Justin Williams, don't call people fucking idiots. Unless you have 100% undeniable truths that can prove the Paul McCartney is Paul McCartney! Read the books about Travistock & Laurel Canyon. Also, [free plug] read the book by Tina Foster.

Let it be is not a Paul's song and the reason is obvious: Paul's soft songs like "Yesterday" and "Here, there and everywhere" has a lot of music chords in a small verse, he loved to mix flat, minor, 7th, and sharp notes, and he loved to use Eminor7th for example. On the other hand, Faul use just a few chords in all the entire song, it's so simple to play, those songs are used to teach guitar beginners...
There are more differences, like the duration of the songs, the tone, way of composing the structure of the songs, etc...
I'm not saying that Faul is not a good songwriter, but he is not Paul. Paul was a genious...

+Angelica Miyashiro you're right, you are considered a genius when you play the exact same way over and over and don't mix it up hahahaha. You're called one dimensional, when you continue on as way you described, and you certainly wouldn't be called a musical genius. Believe it or not some people are really good at mixing it up and don't stuck and complacent on their best/ most comfortable style. Ever heard of the expression less is more? love love me doo? written by paul way before the conspiracy. You're right that song is so complicated lmfao. Chords did you say? do you mean notes?? Yes paul played numerous instruments, but his main was bass and after that keys. You play notes on the bass. Lennon and George played guitar. let it be is paul playing keys. Paul plays yesterday on bass... Yeah you have the same exact approach and style for every instrument lmao. jesus dude. Do you also believe 9/11 was set up by our government?

It’s hard not to go down this rabbit hole as the pre 66 McCartney certainly looks different than the 67 and on McCartney, nobody can grow a long face in one year but this replacement must have some talent as I’ve watched him play acoustic guitar left hand pretty damn good and sing. It’s all a huge mystery and very confusing, at times I believe the switch happened then other times the evidence seems to dispute it. If this happened there has to be a complex network of people to keep the ruse going.

Paul "supposedly" died in 1966, 5 men died comparatively early deaths, and were all gone by 1980. 1 early death or maybe even 2 I could believe, but 5 suspicious early deaths within 14 years of a "big cover up" That sets alarm bells ringing for me. They all were close to the Beatles at one time or another in their lives. George Harrison was almost killed by a nutter as well wasn't he?

Cool, I think people who ignore fact and evidence should just be very careful.
True Beatle Fan's know the truth and pay our respect to John, George, what they tryed so hard to tell us and the real Paul Mccartney. Look at the evidence then ask yourself "why 4 best friends (Brothers) left 35 years of clues on album covers and in songs trying to tell you one of them was dead"?

@ralfw1gum It also makes sense of the album title "yesterday and today".... if you look at the time line of all of this... one of the last songs the real mccartney would have wrote would have been Yesterday.... and also id have to agree... anyone on here needs to watch the videos of the beatles performing yesterday... up to 65 paul always played it acoustic fingerstyle... which is harder than playing bass... then the later versions he keeps fucking up and hes playing bass with the backing band

The whole thing from the crossing the street barefooted to the walrus thing to the Paul is dead thing by an American DJ (or someone on this side of the pond) started it and the Beatle album sales went right straight through the f'n castle! Pure genius.
