Whats going on with this company/plane, whats the hold up? Have there been any progress made for the last year? What have you been working on, what are yo working on? Any estimated, preliminary release date? Estimated price?
Is your company going on a World Tour before marketing them ? I would like to see them in USA soon. I am sure someone like Red Bull will sponsor you easy just to have their log on your flying machine
Let me guess. The drone taking the pictures is in full compliance with Part 107 and the "Blackfly" is ADS-B out equipped! If you guys want to fly that thing in the NAS then comply with the same rule the rest of us have to live with.
As per information on Opener site, their aircraft vehicle will comply with all regulations in US and Europe. What regulations don't apply to them, but apply to you?
"What regulations.....?" NONE. All regulations apply to both of us. And this ENTIRE industry is working night and day, lobbying congress from "K" street to change that. This ENTIRE industry wants unfettered access to the NAS without being liable for "see and avoid" FAR 91.113(b) . Why do you suppose that VC's are spreading money around congress as if the airspace below 400 feet is made of gold. We spent a over a hundred years changing the NAS from the wild west of the air, into a rules based safe operating environment. This industry smells so much money that they want to turn the airspace below 400 feet back into the wild west of the air. The 500 foot bubble applies to ALL, and is alive and well, and exists for a reason....safety.

the FAA has recently changed a lot of rules regarding features found in ultralight air crafts such as this. Check out the new legislature.
