as an athlete she probably took some performance enhancing "vitamins", they have an effect on a body, the hormones are messed up, her feminine part is subsiding, so her face will change even more as she ages. It'll probably become even more manlike. That's what I heard happens with athletes, and it's king of true, if we are honest, many female athlete are a bit manlike.

I'm not sure "legend" should be attributed to a player whose 4 of 5 slams were won while doped up. I admired her tenacity on the court, but she achieved most of what she achieved while using performance enhancing drugs, and her excuse didn't exactly earn her much, if any, sympathy.
The scientific debate surrounding meldonium and it's potential role in enhancing sports performance is a lot more nuanced and complex than a lot of people seem to comprehend. If taking meldonium made champions, northern Europeans would dominate every sport because it's been taken for years, since its development and manufacture in Latvia, due to its anti-ischaemic and cardioprotective properties.
