So little is known about him, but today Chinese websites have him. His alternative name was called 张威廉. I believe the communists are beginning to change, unlike the past. But I still wish for china to be called the republic of China. And under the republic I would be living in that original manor, which my ancestors have lived in. Look at Taiwan now - even a small place like this, after a few decades, the young people are pro-Japan and pro-America to the extent that they thought they are not Chinese. If the Guomin Party had won the civil war and were in charge of China, now China would either split into at many small countries (like the USSR, Yugoslavia) or became a puppet or ‘subordinate’ of USA (like the present Japan) because the Guomin Party is not as ‘iron rod’ as the Communist Party.
Correct look at the parading Republic of China army soldiers they use K98ks Stahlhelm the way you tell it apart from the German Army version it has the ROC Sun markings.
Both PRC and ROC are China, merely divided in politics, the ROC failures on the mainland mostly mount due to the corruptiveness of Kai Shek government at the time. It is also noteworthy to remember that not all of ROC is in Taiwan, the left Kuomintang was also massacred by the Right wing Nationalists in the Shanghai massacre, and they have their own party in the PRC. Don't forget the Republic of China (Taiwan) greatly helped to found the Republic of Korea (South Korea) and helped a lot in using spare soldiers and equipment to save Korea from communism/juche! Chiang kai shek and Syngman Rhee were also good friends.

I think you got mistaken, I didn't regard the ROC as 'Taiwan', I only said the Nationalist still uses the anthem after they retreat to the island in 1949 after they lost mainland China.
