    nice tip man there man thx but one quick question can u show how u would do this on other back exercises for example like the lat pulldown or the dumbell row if possible in order to prevent bad form or technique while doing it

    Should I row both lats at the same time, or 1 side at a time?

    Not possible according to kinesiology to perform a row without a great deal of bicep involvement...maybe if the weight is " hooked into the elbow" somehow... Or the weight is not gripped by the hand.. In 40 plus yrs spent in gyms ...training halls for judo...highland games etc....despite all the " hacks" ...mind muscle connections .....most of the monster back guys all had horrible form...heaved up the weights...didn't concentrate on the eccentric etc.

    I like how he said that with the 5 plates🤣 I totally agree with depression of the shoulder but you need the protraction of the scapula too to get all the benefits and full ROM!

    Ahh yes….I’ll have to drop down to ONLY 3 plates. Good idea 🤣

    Nsima, you often teach isometric contractions? It really skips having to explain to a client what a contraction should feel like when preforming each exercises. They are tasked with finding that feeling each rep. Then the cues like your pistol grip fills in the gaps.

    I also do it one arm at a time. Not pistol grip, but without the thumb. The grip bit was great info tho.

    Dorian Yates with probably one of/if not the best detailed thickest back ever trained with these principles of lat activation especially with the nautilus machine..and before anyone says Ronnies back etc etc, its was never as detailed, dry or as grainy as Dorians as they had different genetics. Go watch 1993 Dorian Yates posing routine and see for yourself. Thanks guys and happy lifting 👍👍

    That's more of a rear delt exercise if you take biomechanics into account. Not very efficient at targeting the lats like with all rowing movements.

    • @Shogun973
      @Shogun973 3 роки тому

      That is not more rear delt biomechanically look at the angle of the GH joint
