That’s unacceptable, I’m small outfit but I still buy 5-6 mil a year in materials, by the way I’m union too, big misconception between union construction and union plant workers, no sick pay, no vacation pay, don’t show up you don’t get paid that’s why our hourly is so good. Also union contractors and nonunion contractors bid exactly the same the difference is nonunion pays their guys $10-15 an hour and we pay $75-100 an hour package. Nonunion are the greediest contractors. I pay good and make a great living but I get the most qualified workers

Ya gotta have it delivered couple days before the job or pick it up a couple days before the job. That way you make sure it has refrigerant in it and there’s no hidden damage. You don’t put tape on the inside where it can dry out and fall down on top of your heaters and short them out/start on fire.
