5ivet looked sweet in the air maybe some drag brake to keep the nose down but man that was awesome, MCD looked like it struggled to hook up with those planetary diffs. Awesome work bruv
Wow! Sweet rigs!! The track too! Really cool to see someone use these in their element, and not afraid to send them like they were built for. I never experienced a true 1/5, I have Xmaxx, K8S, which are big and fun, but these are next level for sure. I really wish Losi would put out the 5ive T in electric myself. I might actually be interested then, but paying for a gasser then converting is just too much money. I'll just have to settle on the K8 as my wannabe 1/5 track truck I guess. Happy rippin' guys!!👍🍻
Great video! Hella good driving as well😎👍.... That turn @6:58 😱😎👍👍👍👍👍 Suspension on the Losi seems better set up out the box while the mcd seems to turn better without as much affort. MCD had a hard time on that big jump transition. That track is sweet❤❤ Love the electric conversions on these, I had wondered on the MCD how it went, thanks for that. I went with the 30 degree N Losi 5ive T Clone, I did an electric conversion video, I feel like you always have to fiddle with things to hold these big rigs together as consistent as say a 1/8th scale... But it's kinda fun coming up with what I call hobo mods😂 Good stuff
Thanks buddy… I actually sold the mcd and got a 30 degree north…. It’s so much more durable… the mcd does turn really nice…personally I think the 30 degree north and Losi have better suspension and with some tuning the steering can get better to…. I’ll check out your video as well… merry Christmas
not sure if its his driving style or setup but i can usually hit the gas and pull the rear end around those tight corners where he was massively understeering.. but i kept my center diff really lose 500k fluid in order to do this around tighter tracks..
@@drunkinmaster1 not on the jumps we hit with them…it might if you go more than 10ft…the Losi is way more durable than the MCD, but the MCD drives really nice. The chassis are 7075 so I think that helps… I know some Arrmas are supposed to be but probably really are not…lol
What??? Of course steering was better in this video, said right in the video MCD has upgraded servo and pin tires, Losi had stock servo and stock tires. Couple adjustments and Losi is out steering MCD. Steering can be adjusted. That’s why most racers run Losi or 30 degree north as their platform.
It’s the Losi or 30° north for me, I need something durable enough to take a few noses and cartwheels…and still finish a race… I sold my MCD and picked up the 30 degree north truck and haven’t looked back. It’s super durable and with some tuning it will be competitive…. and the roller was only 750
Are you going to make a video of your 30North? I was thinking seriously about a MCD …but not now. 😅 I owe you one. Btw, the fella that won the East Coast Nat’ls in 5B-e this year is upgrading to a carbon fiber chassis and some other custom goodies. He says the same thing …always, ALWAYS… go for durability over speed. Can’t win if you can’t finish a race. Nothing more disappointing than placing dead last due to breakage. Appreciate the content.
The mcd has ec8 plugs which are 8mm plugs….. and the Losi has qs8 to ec5 adapters cause he uses the batteries on multiple cars…. I was worried too …we have about 20 runs on the trucks and there hasn’t been any issues… you should check out the es8 plugs there about 12 dollars for a five pack

Badass trucks and killer track, might halfto build on to mine with a section like yours looks really fun.
Thanks…
Absolutely two sweet rigs!!! 🔥🏁🏁🏁
magnifique ta vidéos belle préparation rc bravo🤩💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

Really interesting footage and info. Thanks
Great vid! Awesome track… love ya work boys, got a new subscriber 👌
Thank you 😊
Was really rooting for you to finally hit that triple Jake 😉
Awesome Video 👍 is the Losi running stock diffs? Or did you thicken it up. Thanks

Man those things are pretty amazing. But they look super heavy. Do they ever bend chassis like Arrmas?

@ thanks for responding. Between the two, the Losi seemed more balanced through the jumps
Now this the type of rc video's i like not all that other bull shit we see on youtube.
@@SIRICKO thanks
The Losi now has an AGF servo and has a lot better steering
If you're only running 8S, why the 800kv, wouldn't the 1100 work better?
Losi for bashing, MCD for racing. MCD has muuuuuch more steering
My other racing kits are very durable…MCD w5 is not… I don’t see anyone racing them now I know why… it’s sucks cause it does handle great….

what wheels are you running on the MCD? I like them :)
Mcd xcross max
Thanks :) Have you run those wheels on 12s? I wonder if they’d cope with my setup
@@Marko_Radojcic no haven’t tried that…I got them from cardinal racing
It seems they are great for 8s which is good to know - thanks
MCD all the way
Losi win..
Ya… a lot better kit… I sold the mcd and got a 30 degree north
@@stonejss727 I have had my losi for 3 years.. broke a bump mount , 2 rims . On 15 gallons of fuel . Worth every penny
Neither what you really want is a HSP maverick fools money goes to losi. Racing and as for mcd well.
They ain't not HSP yo.
