Thank you i got mine running now on half choke in a pinch. Carb is so dirty, need a new one, need link for parts.
clean the carb again. there is another jet under the idle screw on top of the carb get it as well these carbs are like 250 if you can find one

Nice video! Helpful! Y just bought the “Generac” on Amazon it was on sale for 250 bucks. Do you think it is good buy or should I look for something with a better brand/reliability name on it? Thank you for your help in advance!
Sounds like a great price. Cant think of a better brand for the money. Honda will be twice that.
I'm thinking about getting the generac 1200....what's your opinion of it ?
They are fine. Will run a frige a couple light and aphone charger.

@@grandmastert01 so its just a chinese generator with generac name. It works fine and will last forever as long as you do proper maintenance. But you can get the 2000 harbor frieght one for cheaper and its same quality.

Sounds like this is a nice generator. The issues with most generators I've been reading/studying is from fuel - correct me if I'm wrong. People using crap ethenol fuel and letting them sit there for months on end. No preventive maintenance and then blame the generator.
Using ethanol fuel is fine if your power is out and your steady using it. Stop using it and 3 weeks later your carb is junk. You need to use non ethanol fuel and start your generator every month for at least 10 min with a load on it.
