I grew up living on this route. Still lived near it til 3 yrs ago when cost of London living finally forced me out, so thank you for providing a fond reminder of days riding this route. The worst change made to it was in 1990 when they took away the Clapham Common section, so that once it reached Streatham it was no longer distinct from all the other routes just boringly trundling along the straight road to Brixton.
no problem. for that reason that it goes down the straight road to brixton, im not the biggest fan of the route. as for the section that got withdrawn in 1990, what route replaced it?
@@tm_eclipse8503 Route 60, which shares some roads with the 118 around Streatham Vale and nearer Mitcham, took over the section to Clapham Common in January 1990 but later replaced by the 255. Initially after the change, the 118 only ran to Brixton during Monday to Friday rush hours. The rest of the time it stopped at Brixton Garage (Telford Avenue) so it was basically a cut route rather than rerouted. It was in January 1994 that it started running to Brixton at all times. Up until 1969, it used to run beyond Morden to Raynes Park as well.

Did the music break the glass lol
No. It's a WVL and its not the actual glass that's broken. It looks like scratches.
Took days to edit
