Since they made sure that the contestants didn't know who else was there, he didn't know he would be competing against kids until he accidentally ran into Daneliya who he mentors. That's when they found out they would be competing against each other. He bowed out. He reminded RuPaul of this but it was edited out along with most of his performance.
