The amazing thing about Baai Chieng's film is that it may be interpreted in any way. As director, I see it as an ironic remark on the issues and misconceptions of the tabloid lifestyle that South Sudanese ended up living when they resided in the same country. In this film, we should look at what we eventually became (an independent nation).
So wonderful for our young youths to make two separate brothers and sisters 👯♀️ to come together as one body one soul, thank sons and daughter for great sacrifices to make this movie real, and please 🙏 we need more meaningful movies 🎦 like these one also it is so interesting and both of you are more intelligent, and both of you kids are good in this to educate your people and it is your responsibility and goal 🥅 given to you by the almighty God to save your precious people, and may the almighty God The father bless you all my dear young ones Amen.
Thank you so, so much for your comments, my name is Kaman Awet and I'm the writer & director of this masterpiece...The film depicts the love story of Marial (from Baai) and Nyaruach (from Chieng). Baai Chieng's film may be classified as a romantic satire and probably the first film made in South Sudan since her independence. I like the line from Mr Pal where he says "South Sudan will be united more than before." This is where my heart as a director caught our tribal issues. “Peace has come to Baai and Chieng” is probably the cheesiest line of one lovebird Miss Ruth Nyalel James. Young people who fall in love despite social constraints and inequalities. The setting is a fictional town that is divided according to ancestry. This hatred causes division, accordingly. Aside from the regulations of never speaking to or crossing one other's borders, both towns coexist peacefully.
It finally out been waiting for it for long time, great movie i recommend you all watch it and share, like& subscribe. You are amazing actor brother Taban keep it up ❤️❤️🙏
Keep up the great work Kaman Awet. the movie is really too educative and inspirating to republic of South Sudan and I would love to see you progressing and continue acting movies in our country so that we will have our own movie industry.
@@YarMarychol Thank you so much, Yar. It was you who first read and inspired me to work on the Baai Chieng script. Your social and friendly support helped me realise my aim of making a film about South Sudanese concerns. Now I believe we've begun the conversation! Baai Chieng again discusses the different difficulties that South Sudan's 64 tribes face.
@@hamstartv6119 Making a film after having viewed or completed your assignment is savage. The Baai Chieng suggests that poetry, by making humanity's deepest traumas real via language, risks reifying the acts of violence about which it writes. That is having peace and harmony among South Sudanese regardless of where they come from.
Thank you so much, brother, for your comments and understanding. As humans, we encounter conflicts on a daily basis. According to history, individuals disagree for a variety of reasons: a fight about coexistence indicates that they are not listening to one other; they have different perspectives, values, experiences, and, finally, personalities or prior histories with one another. Kaman Awet's Baai Chieng film addresses all of the topics mentioned above.
There is a lot to critique in Baai Chieng's video, but I'm focusing on 64 tribes, a moment from all of us that captures our interpretation of the tribal separation that exists in South Sudan. Dinka and Nuer are depicted in this film at a high society event, with their hate at its peak.
Hey Brother Mengistumaker1843....True, the tale is wonderful, but the film distorts our understanding of time and place after the war. Now There Is Peace and Baai Chieng is a contradictory film about each tribe and how South Sudan fell under the often-overlooked violence of present neoliberalism and tribalism.
Yes this is unity, and I've also noticed that the Baai Chieng film follows a pattern with our troubles; it also shows us the rants and outbursts, not what caused them. Mainly this relates to the idea of unity since it depicts how the 64 tribes of South Sudan view their fame, their beautiful dark twisted imagination. Baai Chieng film teaches us a lesson about our difficulties and humanity in general.
@MalualAjang "Brother, we lived happily during the war, serves as an epigraph to the Independent Act 2011, which follows the informal narrative structure of the new nation, or such and such tribe. In addition to the collection's epilogue film such as Baai Chieng. In a Time of Peace, this film places us in the present moment, with me as the narrator or (the director) describing some of our tribes in South Sudan were falling: Fall invisible family by an invisible man by an invisible woman.
@papakessy.official ....A historical Film. Yes, South Sudan's film industry is at harsh analysis of the current situation in a not calm country like ours. Yes, this is a really standard film with a brilliant team, actresses, and actors.
In its simplest form, the Baai Chieng film is about (Dinka and Nuer), and two young adults who fall in love with an adversary, and those born in South Sudan. You may think that sounds dumb, yet it is incredibly useful for understanding modernity and the cultural shock we are experiencing now. And the reason this should be revisited in 2023 is that, the film depicts the peculiar and sometimes perplexing psyche of hatred and division. Looking at this, we can understand how this troubled talent has fallen from ancestor approbation.
It's a great film 🇸🇸❤️💯💪
We're all strong together
We can make this change
We make this country a better place for us and everyone 🤝
Thanks so Much in Risky

The movie is not cultural appropriate.
In Nuer , a father of the girl cannot got man his family to discuss the marriage of his daughter.

150 cows means $ 150,000 as a dowry, that i a good deal.
