Nick is a Bully. Oswalt is a victim. We’re watching them in their natural habitat. I’ve seen Oswalt on a handful of things trying to perform live. I don’t think that’s his real comfort zone. I think he needs to rehearse and practice his material. The Parks and Rec Star Wars rant is a famous example of him doing an amazing off the cuff comedy bit. But, if you follow him a bit, that’s really not where he’s comfortable. That’s not his happy place.
Patton had sjw tendencies even back then. He looked really uncomfortable when Mencia told the truth about racial double standards and then went after Nick for that racial joke.
