  • Hi my muddy people!!! Finally as promised my flop bowl! Thankyou to everyone who bought me a coffee or super thanks , i finally have my big bats!
I’ve been madly throwing and getting right into hand building and making canister and honey pot as I have 4 markets this month!!! Let’s face it we are all ramping up for Christmas too!
So many of you watched the LIVE (during and on the replay) and you gave Tracey and I such encouraging words letting me know you enjoy my videos and tips so there is another live coming next weekend! Stay tuned! Your kind words help motivate me to keep bringing you all my content!
For those of you that are more experienced, feel free to fast forward to the parts you are interested in. I don’t like to speed things up in my throwing videos as it can be confusing to young potters. I love our growing pottery family so much, it's a great community and we are all here for different reasons...and sometimes we just wanna chat with one another!
From all of my other videos, whether a livestream or an edited version I've been getting to know some of you very well from the comments and interaction...and I LOVE IT!!! I look forward to the day I win lotto and can do my world pottery tour and meet you all, how fun would that be!?! This pottery community has the BEST people, so don't be shy, say hi and join in the chat with the other potters from around the world during the LIVESTREAM or add comments on my videos. I love reading and replying to your comments!
I do my best to answer EVERY question that comes my way! Sometimes it takes me a few days especially with time differences, but I really do try to connect! If I don't have an answer, someone else in this community will! I've learned so much from so many of you!...Thank YOU!
If you are new to my channel, I post a variety of POTTERY VIDEOS; How To…Throw, Organize Home Studio, Trim, add Details etc. and I share other vital studio essentials from Tools, my Favourite Tools etc! I love sharing what I’m doing in my HOME POTTERY STUDIO. Yep, I work out of my basement pottery studio, throwing on Stevie the Wonder wheel, and my ceramic KILN aka Freddy Mercury, is in my garage.
Don’t forget to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE! It’s FREE and who doesn't like FREE! No really, by subscribing you will be notified of all of my uploads and livestreams , not to mention it helps small channels like mine grow! If you’ve already subscribed, YOU ARE A LEGEND!! Thank you! 😘

I would love to watch a series of progressively more advanced throwing lessons.

Oh not about the flop bowl, but I picked up the top bats off your recommendation. Theyre fabulous and Tony is sooo helpful if you have any questions . I picked up the hexagonal insert and small ‘mug’ size bats today.

Hi Nat! Thanks for sharing your process. I laughed out loud when the batt popped off the wheel! On trimming, I will sometimes use lumps of clay to even the piece out. Other times I will throw a chuck and put the bowl on top of it to trim. How do you do it? Is there a better way?

Hey Pat yes it was a close call to it landing on the floor!! I am lucky I have a giffin grip so I just use that. I very rarely put a foot in them as they r never centered for trimming so I just to a very basic flat base trim xx

Oooh I went and threw one today after I watched, just 600 grams because I’m a novice. It looks so cool already . thank you for the video. I did neglect to put any thought into hanging it upside down and threw it on my new top bats small mug bats . Had to problem solve that .
