Seeing ssj god and blue in Tenkaichi game play actually made me shed a tear I grew up on these games. This series defined my childhood. After years of seeing modded BT3 Gameplay it’s finally coming true.

164 with transformations. BT3's was 161 also including transformations. Though, BT3 had tons of characters who couldn't transform, while in Super most characters can.
Yeah, but transformations are taking slots so it will end up having too many slots for too few characters I'm afraid. A roster 160 that counts transformation is not as much as you think.

So glad they went with the same classic Budokai Tenkaichi ki shots and bursts If you don't get what I mean,I'm just pointing out such an extremely small detail in some animations that are reused assets from the old games and I have zero problems because I love those games for being fun and overall solid for those times,if you played those games now with or without mods you'd notice they hold up well to this day
For all the people who are younger I'm 32 by the way and never had the chance to play the Tenkaichi games I am going to to say you will really enjoy this game and to the developers and the team that worked on this what is going to be a masterpiece for all dragon ball fans we all thank you.

I just want Fluffy Haired Original Super Saiyan Goku to return. Tenkaichi 3 having it was amazing. I also want to see GT get more love. Milking Super is getting old already. One thing that was great about Tenkaichi 3 was how it was like a love letter to the entire franchise. OG Dragon Ball, DBZ, GT, the Movies, they all got love and everyone could play as their favorite character no matter what series they were from. Anyone could catch some hands which made Tenkaichi 3 the Greatest. Hoping Tenkaichi 4 can deliver on highlighting the entire franchise equally for all fans.
"Milking Super is getting old already." How? When Super content-wise hasn't really been as covered compared to Z and GT in a lot of games. In fact Super has been the least covered installment of the series in only a few games. It's not really fair to make that claim since you could make the same argument of Z being the most milked series compared to most other installments of Dragon Ball.
I just hope the game is as fluid and tight as its predecessors (Budikai Tenkaichi series). I've seen so many Dragon Ball games release this past 10 years but couldn't connect or even commit myself to it (except for FighterZ).
I just hope the transformations would be truly like Base Form first, then Kioken, SS, SS2, SS3, Great Ape, SS4, SSG, SSBLUE, UI, MUI. Yes it's a lot... But that is BT3 technically speaking. It may seem like we can choose what transformations we get for ourselves possibly.

I love the way the boulders explode and smoke dissipates away from them. It's so beautiful.

Transformations don’t need another character slot, more like sub slot under the same character like BT3.
Exactly that being said different forms can give access to different moves as well and wont have to much screen clutter

Xenoverse and fighterz for me but got tired of xenoverse because it was to much of a reminder of bt but was nothing like it
