“Tabi Tabi Po” is a Tagalog expression which in English translates to “pardon me” or “excuse me”. In folklore these words are uttered to Filipino mythical creatures, to avoid bad luck.
The film is about a man who moves into the city to work and earn money. But his stay causes him to make hard decisions which in turn raises the question, is our fate determined by our actions or something supernatural.

honest opinion and observation ang gulo maganda ung mga shot especialy ung color grading kaso ung kwento at character hirap intindihin sorry mahina utak ko sa mga ganitong klaseng tema love indie pero hindi ung maintindihan pasensya na pero sana makita nyo ung naiis kong iparating thumbs up!!!
Well I'm already a big fan of yours Nuk, so expect this to be a biased review. Ive only seen this once and I'll try my best to be objective. First, you've obviously grown as a filmmaker. In your previous work, there is a sense of sophomoricism, cuteness, that is traded for a darker and more eerie feel in this film. Ill tell you what I love the eerieness. I like how you're dealing with a lower class situation; we see dirty hallways, places of ill refute in manila, that many of us might be scared to go. I like how you take us there, and try to make us feel something there. I like how you've retained your style of startling the audience in the ways that you do. I honestly think the sound needs a bit of work though. I think the dissonant piano is ok or so-so in some parts to create the spooky feel, but i think it could have been less in some places and more in others. For instance, when the trill is intensifying, while the protagonist is looking for the something near his bed that turned out to be a rock, i wanted the piano to be more precise in speed, faster and sharper, more staccato. However, I think maybe you were really going for that feel there, but i have to admit that part just made me laugh when I saw that it was just a rock.
When he was fumbling around in the dark, looking for something in the other room, the music gave me a weird feeling, like a confused feeling. I know I should probably watch it again but I wanted to just get one view in and write everything as it came to me... so... I kind of didn't get what he was doing in that room afther he woke up and shined the light on his face, i didn't get what he looked for and after that I didn't get why he went, to what looked to be, a job interview and handed what appeared to be a resume that went into the trash. then he crossed of something on his to do list. I was lost there.
I love the idea of the blind landlord. I like how she plays on what could be superstition or the supernatural leaving offerings to whatever might be out there. I love how she nags the protagonist for money. I like the idea of the stones. I like how some things are a mystery. I like how you make the viewer draw their own conclusions about some things. Try to let me know somehow if you post another video, im subscribed to you, but, you'll almost certainly be layered by the 100 or so other subscriptions that i have. Ill be glad to write a shitty for anything you do. Thanks for uploading this Nuk. I was definitely entertained for at least the 20 mins of watching this, and prolly the 20 mins of writing this. cheers and happy birthday bro.

1. How did the guy anger the spirits? Did he give the landlady the money offerings means for the spirits? Or did he underpay her cuz she's blind?
2. If the setting is a ghetto, why are the doors padded and quilted like foo-foo furniture?
