People like to BUY NEW: these are the specific market that are the same who buy thrift to either save money and can't afford full retail or because they like the thrill of "cheating" the Big Company -s. The latter is a Real Emotional Response that drives significant sales numbers.
we're all familiar with the Thrill of the Hunt...but buyers who aren't also resellers can have very quick emotional responses to the Thrill of the WIN ie beating the regular retail systems that are hell bent on taking more of the buyers' hard earned dollars.
