Wow. Just wow. It is amazing how you transform an ordinary, plain looking dresser...into this DAZZLING rustic treasure! I swear your brain (artistic vision) is unmatched, in my opinion. You never fail to surprise this skeptic, un-visionary (is that a thing?) furniture painting rookie! Now I'm gonna go find a piece I can scrape some paint on. Thank you for the inspiration, Maestro!!
This piece is ahhhhmazing!!! I’m blown away!! I looooooove the rust!! I love all of it! When I saw the thumbnail I immediately thought “she is so beautiful!” I remember that at one point you were feeling like you couldn’t dye your hair how you wanted etc. I say do you because you look incredible as you are!!! Sending love and congratulations on your paint line!!
Love that mix of colors - so rich! Epsom salt is a fantastic texture medium. It has a random mix of crystal sizes from very fine to very coarse so you get some really interesting textures.
Gorgeous! You are such an amazing person, teacher and artist! Loving the wheels, the colors, all the texture, the rust and hardware. You were wondering if this would work in the beginning, please girrrrl I never had a doubt you would nail this… and you certainly did! You are soooo inspiring and such a great soul. I will forever be your obsessed fan! 😂🤣😂
Wow Crys'Dawna, you knocked it out of the park as per usual! I adore this piece! If you are ever planning on running in person workshops in Europe please sign me right up! You are my artistic heroine! ♡
I LOVE your hair, you adorable, colorful little thing you! I haven't even watch the rest of your video yet LOL but I know it's going to be fabulous! Everything You Touch turns to Gold my dear everything! I just love what you do and how you do it so okay I'm going to watch the video now can't wait thank you.
This is absolutely amazing! I just cleaned up my art table and have saved packets of big pretzel salt to use with watercolors. May just get sidetracked! So inspiring. Love 💕 all your colorful 🌈 work!
You have vision! When I see you slapping that paint on there and what it looks like up close, I think at that point I would be screaming and crying, haha.... but you continue and voila a cool piece. Thanks for trying all the stuff out first and giving us (me) the push to try something myself.
Absolutely brilliant! Just ❤️❤️All the colours and that Rust is brilliant 👍 I’m in Australia So Excited to See you use Pureco products ❤️👍 Have an Awesome day 🤗
Crsy Dawna...this is beautiful. I love watching you. you always go out of the box and are so thorough. I appreciate your style and as always love your hair..the bangs are super cute on you!!!
Incredible!! 🔥 I absolutely adore this!! I'm a fairly new subscriber and am working on watching all your tutorials. I'm in love with your techniques! 🫶🏻
Brilliant with the Kosher Salt! Any time I find a substitute for the more expensive brand, I use it! Thanks! And Congrats on Apothecary ownership! You rule!
Very pretty! You always have such good ideas . I did something similar in fall 2020 and Kosher salt was almost impossible to find anywhere . I had to order it online since locally it’s was nowhere and even that proved difficult unless I wanted like 50lbs or more of it😄
So happy you're continuing to use an Aussie brand like Pureco, we have some wonderful ones here!! I have been using some Hewbury paint per your suggestion (found a stockist in my state) and love it 🥰🥰 this is an amazing finish and the industrial style wheels set it off perfectly.
i ve been impatiently waiting till u come back from ur holiday to see more of ur amazing work...this is absolutely amazing and extremely creative😍👏...pls dont go away again even if its a holiday😄😂
Hey! I've watched a number of your videos (absolutely love your work) & noticed you use a handful of different products by different brands (Pureco texture powder, Dixie Belle sea spray, etc) to add texture. Would you be able to do a video at some point comparing the different products, what you like/dislike about them, & what you've found each of them most useful for? I'm stoked to get supplied together for a few pieces I'm planning, but can't find anything online that covers this specifically.
Wow! This is sooo Next Level! I love this. You amaze me. The inspo was a rusty pole in Luxemborg? It looks like an old metal cabinet. This is perfect industrial in color! Just wow! Perfect!🌸
Love that technique. Looks awesome. That salt co. Is the one my son works at. I can get all the salt i want. Wow. Thats what i am going to use from now on. Well done and i love the wheels to!
Thanks Kerri, so it’s funny you ask that because it pretty much is the wolf cut but not intentionally lol My hair broke off from my high “mom bun” and then I chopped my bangs and it all kind of fit. I saw a girl doing the wolf cut and I was like ooh look at that I am super cool and hip lol 😂
Hi Crys’Dawna. I hope you are doing well. I have some IKEA file cabinets that I am going to try this technique with. They are not your standard file cabinet. I took out the hardware and doors and now looks like a two shelf cubbie about 3’ long for “stuff” maybe by a back or front door. I am looking at wheels. Love everything g on wheels! Where did you get yours in this video? Or what kind are they? I see so many on line. Thank you for inspiring me and keep me going. It’s been a rough two years.
Good morning , you look beautiful. It’s been a bit since I’ve watched your videos. I read in the comments that you have your own paint line? I’m excited to check all this out!
It’s just gorgeous! I was a little bit hesitant when you added the purple tones, but, as usual, you made it work just beautifully. I was not a fan of texture but over time you have made me a convert. Texture ho!!! Thanks for the tip about the kosher salt. Please let us know what you think of using it application, workability, wear, and so on. I’m going to try this on an old ammunition box I have and see how it goes. Love your channel. I’ve been following you for quite awhile and you’re still my favorite. Congrats on your new venture! How exciting!!! (For those who haven’t heard check Facebook.) With your positive, can do attitude I know you will make a success if anything you undertake.
