Is anyone here in year 2024?
For a moment anyway
Yes
My cup of tea.
uppp
👋
I'm 27 and I want anyone out there who needs to hear this never give up on your dreams or you will look back at the opportunities you had that you didn't take full with regret. Take a chance and maybe, just maybe, it might change your life. Hope everyone out there has 100 more years to live. Cheers.
❤
ok bloomer
I, too, was 27. I'm 28 this year, I assume so are you.. hope your dreams also came true. ♥
You will look back when you’re 50 and realize You knew very little- surround yourself with people in their 40-50s and listen to their advice… we’re basically fortune tellers if you’re willing to listen ❤️🌹
@@lgrace3874 lol thanks
Heard it in a store a few days ago, and listened to it about 50 times since then. Lots of crying and thoughts of being 15, when my mom, dad, and grandma were still alive. I heard it On April 27th, which happened to be the day Mom went to Heaven 34 years ago, Now at 71, I still miss her like crazy. She only got to be a grandma for one year, but knew we were expecting our second child when the Lord called her. And we named our third child, our daughter after my Grandma and Mom, the two kindest, sweetest, and strongest ladies God ever made. I will continue playing this and cry each time. Young people, don't waste a minute, as this old timer wasted more than I care to remember. Enjoy each day the Good Lord gives you.
God Bless you. Thanks for sharing.
Sending hugs. God bless you.
Wow. Deep…and great advice ❤
Thank you for sharing 🙏 wishing happiness and blessings❤
Sounds like you wrote my story "young " lady. Much love. God Bless
The lyrics for this song are so powerful and so very true. I remember 15 like it was moments ago… and in the “blink of an eye” I’m 47. Never take anyone or anything for granted. It sounds cliche but I find myself getting emotional every time I listen to this beautiful song.
I'm 47 too. This song is really special.
In a blink of an eye we're old😅
exactly this songs have a very strong message ....it's about life ,love and time....and the people you love ....
Yeah! So powerful!
"In a blink of an eye 67 is gone" hits hard😔
Heard it first when i was 15.. Now i'm 30.. Time sure flies
I’m 15 and just found this video not a bad song.
@@kennykerekes9813enjoy your youth Kenny! You only live it once. Life is short and make good decisions. Enjoy doing the things you do without regret. Best of luck in your journey in life ❤
This song will always be very special to me, because it was my senior class song. I graduated high school in 2008 and on the last day of school they had a slide show of all the seniors in the class. They showed my picture during the piano part where he sings "ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh, ooh" so that part in particular will always be with me 💙💛
This song was popular when my man and I got together and were traveling a lot. It also reminds me of my Great Aunt Josie who lived to be 93 and passed in 2007.
I graduated high school in 2008 too.
Did you go to HS in upstate NY? I’m wondering if we went to the same school. I graduated HS in 2011, this was also our class song and our school colors were blue and gold (same color as your hearts).
Batch 08 representtttt 😅
were! batchmates! 2008
Entering my 6th decade this August. Sixty seven will roll on bye in a flash! Don't let life pass you bye in a blink of an eye. Grasp each day with joy and vigor. Dying for just one more day.....
Happy birthday month!
If anyone else is listening to this song now in 2022 you are still in Good shape.
Same
Dually noted 🤘
we are in good shape
I am too :)
Me too.. listening this song before you sleep is the best way to relax zzzz
Turning 26 this year! Cheers to a hundred years! If you saw this post know that all is going to be well, it won't last forever! There's hope, prayers 🙏
dude why does no one see how beautiful this song is mad respect to five for fighting can you guys believe this is a one man band!
Right on, Ethan!
i honesty believe alot of people don't like the song because not everybody lives to 100 , sadly lots die in their 70's 0r 80's even 60's ! tbh anytime you can die
You just blew my mind. Was never a fan of this music when younger and just googled it. Damn, this was a one man band!
say no more buddy..yeah
I'm 65 and this song hit me hard.
Incredible song. ❤
This song hits harder as we grow older 😞😞😞
Tell me about it!
I was 17 when this song came out and there definitely seemed like there was a lot of time left. Had my first son at 32. I'm knocking on 40's door now. I still feel youthful and energetic, but I also am noticing each year truly flies by. Enjoy your youth young folks, it goes quick.
I'm 72. The older I get the more appreciation & meaning this song holds for me.
This song came out when I was 22. I’m now 43 … it happens faster than you think 😭
For real time being flying by.
It's crazy how after high-school, the years fly by. Takes forever to hit 18 and then, bam! I'm 35, like what the fuck!?
We were born the same year 😅
this song came out im 11 now im 32 😢
True were lucky when we live 100 years
It breaks my heart listening to this song. And till now it still hurts.. remembering those happy days that will never happened again and those dreams you wholeheartedly want to get when you get the certain age but then here you are unhappy and still fighting for your dreams. To be happy.
I know you feels
Keep going charlyb, I can tell you're stronger than you think...
Just knowing most people don't live to be 100 really makes this song deep.
Love this song 💕💕 im 46 for a moment chasing the years of my life thank you God🧚♀️❤️
My nana used to play this song when I was little... she's in her mid 60's now and I'm 23 with a 3 year old daughter. Life goes by so fast
Although I'm 21 years old, I still do not feel like an adult who is capable of living by himself. I have always had such a deep and intimate relationship with my family, and I cannot even begin to imagine what it's like to leave them and to live my life alone. Truth be told: I'm scared. I really am. I'm not ready to live by myself, at least not yet. There are times when I miss my childhood, and this song serves an example. I never would have imagined that a song would bring me to tears.
We'll leave the home that we used to live in and eventually die away from them.
I feel you, I was always been with my Mom and Dad even until 22 when I was already working. I'm 25 now and I still live with my Dad lol. But slowly, I'm starting to learn how to become a little independent. One step at a time.
Don't worry guys you got this, I'm 28 and still figuring my stuff out. Still live with my adoptive parents. It may seem scary to go out on your own but just know sometimes the only one who limits you is yourself and your invisible fears. Try new things, take your time , and be prepared to fail but you will get there .
You will do great!
You don't have to leave if you have a choice
First heard this song while traveling with my family through Tennessee when i was a teen.. I'm 38 years old today and still think this is one of the most meaningful songs I've ever heard.
I'll be 32 this year of 2022 and still single damn 😢 but it's ok I'm happy for what I'm doing to my life🤗
It's okay all the best ppl are single because others r to busy chasing the wrong person...ppl dnt recognize real ppl anymore and everyone's chasing a fantasy so sometimes it's better to be alone in a world of confused fools! Be hopeful you'll find someone who sees value in you and appreciates it!
This song hits hard and I can never not sing this song without sobbing. It's the song I chose to sing at my uncle's funeral. He lost his life to alcoholism. Something I nearly fell into after my abusive ex boyfriend. It's a song that reminds me that I'm still alive and have wonderful partners and support. I'll eventually return to dust but I'm here in the now
Bravo, girl...singing it must feel like a "Power Ballad" for sure 💖💖💖💖💖
I feel that, I have a different song that does that for me. I'm sorry for your loss and your abusive ex. God bless you my friend and I'm rooting for you
Makes me bawl like a baby Everytime. I want to try to convince every young person to make the most of it. I want to go back and enjoy it more. Even still, I've landed pretty good at 62.
This song makes me think back to my days of addiction, too.
I'm really glad you chose YOU. Keep choosing you, forever.
Either this or heaven knows by fff is gonna be my funeral song I’m still debating
I had just found out I was pregnant with my son when this song was released in 2004. I love you, Jesse, my son. I love you to the moon and back. Merry Christmas.
From Malaysia. Wishing the world could just get along and cherish life.
I will never regret growing old, so many people that I loved never got the chance. 😩
20 and hoping for more years to live❤️ Listening to this was like I'm in a cluod nine🥰🤗
Your gorgeous and young so be hopeful! ^_^
I came back when I remembered this song from my young young years and it hits hard. This used to be one of my favorite songs. I saw a recording of me recording my iPod with this song playing and I was like 9 or 10. Memories. I can't believe all that has happened already and I only have two months left of high school. I am leaving all those teachers (my favorite) and I will never be in those classes again. I will never be a kid again. It is gone and this song just reminds me of how fast it is going and how it is coming to an end. This song gets me emotional because I haven't heard it in years and it reminds me of the amazing years of life :)
hopefully I will really like what's ahead of me in the future and won't be sad
I know this feeling too well. Luckily, at 29, I went back to my old school as a substitute teacher and filled in for many of my own teachers who taught me much throughout my lifetime. So I've got those bittersweet memories to add to the repertoire, besides my days in college.
I’ll be turning 44 in 5 days. If you’ve just graduated, well, “there’s still time for you”. Make this life a good one ❤️
If you see this (after 7 months) Im 55,and this song rips me to pieces. You will always hear this…Live each day as if its your last. Please write it down!Get a tattoo with these words! Hang it over door!.. The only thing we can control in this lifetime,is how we deal with everything thrown our way.Give your full attention to everyone you meet, and be kind to them. The smallest thing you say or do,could change someones life for the better. You could save someones life, and you may never even know it,or you could possible find out 40 years later.Forgive anyone who has hurt you over the years, and do your best to let them know they’re forgiven ( this includes the evil in this world) The anger will weigh you down if you dont let it go! Tell your Loved ones how much they mean to you every chance you get.The most important lesson i’ve learned is to Always try to do the right thing! That voice in your head is always right! Many times it may not appear to be on the surface, but you will never ever look back, and have regrets. No doubt you will question what ifs?,but if you gave 100% with a pure heart…You won’t replay “this song”,and wish you could have a second back to do it over again.THERE ARE NO DO OVERS IN LIFE!!,but if you tried your best, going forward wont be so damn depressing every waking moment. You won’t be afraid to push forward, and give it your best even though you will make mistakes along the way.The only thing that can bring me peace is looking back at the few times I gave 100%,and gave it with Love in my heart.Tell the people who you appreciate, and Love, how much they mean to you.Tell them the specific things they’ve said or done, and how it shaped you.Tell them how important they are,and how the world is a better place with them in it.❤
@@timothyalexy9727 that's beautiful and great advice. ❤
62 with 2 grown grandsons and a great grand on the way! Time flies by!
It has been twenty years, not a hundred years, when this captivating song/video hit the charts. It definitely takes one on a trip down memory lane!
I miss this song... 😢
Life goes faster than what you think. Ever...
Indeed. As someone Aging number after number each year
67 is next up for me.. just keeps speeding up
Better than 6 decades in and I’m working on my pilots license. It ain’t over till it’s over.
Way to go, Captain 👍
Goddamn right, best of luck
Way to go! Really! ✈️
That’s right brother man. It ain’t over till it’s over.
🤔
This came out in '04, year after I was born. I grew up listening to this while my grandfather on my dad's side of the family was still alive. I remember one day while riding in the car with him, the song came on and he started to sing along with it. I didn't think much of it as a kid, but when I was in 8th grade I started poking around and started to develop my listening tastes. One of the songs I listened to was this one; after some time I would just listen to it off and on, then I started getting into rock, metal, emo and punk, but this song held a special place in my heart, and still does. Now that I came back to it again, I'm gonna probably listen to it for a while and appreciate its meaning once more, and chase after the years of this life and chase it onto the next. :3
AM POSITIVE we ALL play this on a loop, going through EVERY emotion we have...up, down, soaring, crying, bliss, sadness, ecstasy...❤❤❤❤❤
For sure
I do
Every time I listen to this song, it makes me reflect many things in my life. What already passed and what waiting me ahead. Im 41 now, heading towards 45.
Reminds me of my first love, who passed away at 15. It was l was very harrd. As l grow older,l wonder @ 23 there would of been time for him. Now, 30 years later l still wonder.Love you Robert❤
It’s not what you did that you regret in life; it’s what you didn’t do. Being 50 years old, a paraplegic in a nursing facility and the last one alive in my family; I have a ton of regrets over wasted potential of my life. Don’t let this happen to you because…
You only have a hundred years to live 😢
Turning 22 this year and don’t know what life holds for me yet but whatever it is I know that with those around me and those yet to come into my life will stand beside me through it all ❤. Thankyou five for fighting you will always make your fans and followers feel special ❤❤❤❤
Beautifully said ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I was 13 when this song came out. As someone about to turn 32.
This hits harder now then it ever did b4.
This song my brother selected to play while the pictures of our dad showed at his viewing and during the reception after his funeral. 18 years later when I hear this song it just brings it all back as daddy's little girl.
😢
I remember listening to this even before I was even 15yrs. I am 29yrs now and I am going through all the years of this song in real time it's wild.
I still feel like a teenager sometimes I wish I would have loved myself more back then so I could have enjoyed it more when life wasn't as serious as it is now.
Facts 😢 better older n older
I dedicate this song again to Patrice Bergeron one of the greatest centers in the national hockey league and the way he played congratulations on your retirement Patrice Bergeron may no one forget your number 37 and the passion for hockey and thanks for playing with the Boston bruins organization.
I intend to keep going to the Gym & living the beautiful fitness live that Universe has given me till I'm 100 year old. Amen!!! 💪💪💪
I want this played at my funeral.
I will always love this song! It's so true! Time goes by so fast! Even if you do make it to 100 y/o, It is just a drop in the bucket. Life is just a vapor!💜😔
Every birthday, I quote this song. "I'm ___ for a moment." And I've been quoting it from my mid 20s into my mid 30s. You only realize how fast it goes in hindsight.
Indeed. Aging yearly.
I've been listening to it on my birthday for several years now, but I think I'll add this to the tradition. Listen to the song, then say "__ for a moment"
Am I the only one tears whenever I hear this song? It kinda reminds me that life is too short guys 🥲
I wanna cry everytime I hear this song... It hits so hard to realize that everything that went by will never come back 😢😢
I can't believe i'm still listening to this music. It was in 2025 when I first heard this song..since then this has become one of my favorite songs even after 17 years🙏❤️
2015 u mean 😅
It's 2024 good to listen this kind of music
This song is released when I am 15 Now I'm heading to 30, I remember when the good ol' times with my friends, grandparents, and people around me to jolly around, heading into adulthood and parenthood are really scary but there's a joyful with my small family a lot disappointment, cry, and small happiness in life, and now everyone is gone my friends disappear one by one to continue with their life, my grandparents gonne, and people I used to be around is getting distant. I wish I could go back to that time to enjoy that moment again I'm not afraid of death but I'm afraid the memories is gonne and forgotten in the past.
I remember when I was at age 17-19 I was suicidal. I was lonely and singled out by all my friends. Here I am at 25 I still got time for me
And keep yourself healthy and you'll see how good it will be
"Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls" Joseph Campbell. God bless you
this song will bring anyone, no matter how tuff. To tears, and their knees crying.
This song hits different in your mid 30s.
I bet.
Still holds a place in my heart love this song♥️
The need to express how you feel NOW. It may be too late before you realize. If you love someone, tell them, if you have a dream that you always wanted, go for it. And more power to you guys ! :)
Its already 2024 , is there a chance still listening to this song.
im here brother wherever u from u aint alone
A really good friend showed me this song. I love it!
I'm 33, and my dad is 67. Adds up to 100. The ending of the song is so sad. This is all too strange and real. God, life is short.
For real for mortals
Tears flow whenever I hear this moving song and it’s poignant lyrics…😰
Just lost my 89 year old father. I am broken hearted and reflecting on his life and my life. So many memories. How quickly time has passed. Life is a breath.
This moving song really tells the story, my father’s story, my story, the story of all of us…
Im 22 but "15, there's never a wish better than this" damn feels so different to be 15
I remember as a kid I wanted nothing more than to be an adult, with all the freedom I felt came with it. Now that I’m 22 too, I realize I had no idea how good I had it at 15. When my biggest responsibility was homework and my biggest worry was what my friends and I were going to do that weekend. A much simpler time that I didn’t appreciate until after it had passed by.
@@terminallumbago6465 agreed
Hear ya, every stage of Life is different, but you always have that 15 year old in you...and you've still got lots of Life to share with that 15 year old 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Use to listen to this song when I was 12 years old I'm turning 23 this year and this will be my first time listening to it in a long time I know I'm going to cry 😢
That's why they say, only one life, which soon will pass; only what's done for Christ will last!
I'm old now at 53 of ages,l love music.....June 9 2023 , thanks God
Mama and Daddy, I love and miss you two so very much…
I am crying…such a nostalgia 🥹
This song always struck me. The song itself, yes, but also the abrupt ending
Love this song. Never will get tired of it.
Gratitude for being alive
Heard this when I'm in highschool. How time flies so fast, now I'm 33. Hits so differently.
... IT MAKES ME CRY! JUST A BEAUTIFUL TRUTH OF LIFE, THANKS WITH ALL MY HEART ❤ MAY EACH LIFE BE FULL OF BLESSINGS!

And here i am.
You are not alone. 😢
I just heard today realizing before when i'm 15 now im 32 😢 the time is so fast. Keep replaying and about to cry reminicing the fast.
This song reminds me that FOREVER YOUNG is a Myth...... Instead the meaning of this song Fulfills our soul with undying greatness to remember that life is a journey of learnings yet embcing the True essence of Life and Death.....I'm so Humbled every time I hear this song while sobbing with gratefulness that I'm so Glad to Experience the Existence of Humanity
I hope this song will still beloved in years to come 🥺❤️
2024 guys the first time I understood the lyrics now that I'm an adult I suddenly wanted to cry..
My mom passed away a few days ago ...and just like that she was 87 and gone..
Cherish the one's you love.
July 14, 2024. Still kicks the memories from this song .
this song always reminded me that we're all going leave one day, our existence will just turn into memories😢😢, and then i realise that the priceless thing in this world was time..
Indeed. ⏰ for our lives.
Over twenty years ago but this song still gives me goosebumps. 60 is coming. The kids have grown up and here we are. 15 there's still time to choose and time to lose ourselves within a morning star...
2023 turning to 33. Whew! Time flies so fast. Still chasin' the dreams. Praying that this year will be on my favor. 🙏☝️
I am still listening to this song in 2023 and will be listing to it forever ( LOVE THIS SONG)
Just turned 59 and this cuts,
I'm 24 now. It's become a tradition to listen to this every birthday, since my mid teens. It makes me sad, but I also wouldn't feel right skipping it.
It just makes you feel.. so happy to be alive
This song remind me just how short life is, even when it feel long.
I discovered this song when I was a teen, going to be 33 soon. I finally understand why those "old folks" used to say time flies.

I used to sing this when I was in high school&now I'm 38!time ticks so fast😁
