2:31 that washer is designed to be next to the nut, it is designed to prevent unscrew nut itself during vibration. Completely do not understand the way which you went.

For the 2023 HD Road Glide CVO, do you mount the bracket from the top side underneath the mirror vs. from the bottom side as shown in the video? On the clutch side of the CVO, there’s a wire / plug connection that seems to be in the way of mounting from the bottom. Please advise.

You can turn the bracket over and install it on top of the rearview mirror screws, and the final effect will be the same.
