There are 3 technical park pegauses. It just so happens that 2 of them share the same name and lighting scheme (delusion). One is owned North American Midway and the other by Dreamland Amusements
The midway is going to improve even more this year and next year. Drew Exposition out of Georgia just got their KMG XDrive at it arrived here a few days ago. They are getting a Kolmax Breakdance on May 3 and next year they are getting a Mondial Escape
Thank you for the list! Our family is happy you think so highly of our three rides! I personally have moved the tango since we got it day 1 in 2003, also the OMG and my father moved the Evolution. Keep an eye out for a new ride from us next fall :-)
Some of my favorites: -KMG Speed provides such unique flipping sensations I can't get anywhere else and I can literally feel my stomach sloshing around -KMG Fireball is also pretty intense too, feeling more forceful than those large Frisbee rides. Also been on a larger variant of that at Myrtle Beach -KMG inversion. It was too hot for me to enjoy to its fullest on the one time I had a chance to ride one but I feel like otherwise it would have been a favorite.
That's my favorite ride! I'd always spend all my tickets on those. One time my cousins and I kept getting on the guy just told us to stay and we rode till the fair closed that night😁
I LOVE Kissel rides. As you said, the floor of Big Kahuna not working is a temporary issue, I'm sure. They're usually on top of maintenance and repairs like that, so it was likely a part they had to find/make as it's rare and the last of it's kind ride
I remember when the RCS Tango had footrests which were absolutely awful to the experience, lol, as you legs would bang into them through the cycle. Otherwise it's actually such a fun ride and cycle, it'll totally make you feel like you are about to fly off the ride and get super dizzy. RCS had an Experience that was super fun esp when it started the basic spin. Their OMG is a total blast, you feel like you are about to be slammed to the ground through the cycle. Bishop used to travel with RCS with their Evolution too, and that was such an interesting experience. Intense and dizzying. It hasn't traveled together in a while at least to the LA County Fair. Moonraker did show up at the OC Fair with RCS but that was a couple years ago. Sadge. When Hexentanza was at Knotts as Tampico Tumbler, it was the best flat ride ever, super fun and dynamic. So many moments of negative G's.
Rcs does some of the local fairs around here. Their tango could really use some love as the back drop as gotten very faded over the years. I also miss when the RCS midway used to have Evolution, Experience, Hard Rock, Spin Out, Kamikaze, Inverter and Chaos. Their miday was really extreme back in the late 2000s when they had all these rides. The KMG Experience and the Fabbri Hard Rock being some of my favorites.
we still have the hard rock and kamikaze here in aus!!! if you really wanna go here just for the rides, i'd go to melbourne or sydney, don't go to adelaide because they have very strict safety laws, so you won't see any kmg xxl or orbiter models (at least not officially)
RCS always brings Tango and OMG to my 2 local county fairs ( LA County Fair and OC Fair) every year and they are my 2 fav rides on their midway! I ride them every time I visit their midway. Also, Caprice Entertainment also owns a Moonraker and it did came to the OC Fair with RCS in 2021.
the nearest fair to me is the del mar fair, they have the OMG, Evolution, Tango, a newly added Moonraker which was just added last year and they used to have a flipper
Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall Of America used to have a Zierer Hexantanz called Jimmy Neutrons Atomic Collider. The ride was originally known as the Treetop Tumbler and was based on the now defunct Tampico Tumbler at Knott's Berry Farm.
The US fair game is about to go big with Ionic Rides/Wade Shows will have their KMG XXL named Kraken at the Florida State fair in February! This is the same fair that will also have the Mondial Magnum and a Technical Park Pegasus 16 named Delusion.
It should also be noted that there are several other examples outside of this list. Butler amusements also operates a KMG move it in addition to an energy storm (while currently being solid by zamperla I believe it was originally manufactured by somebody else). There are also a whole bunch of inversions that operate (although not as well as their european counterparts as most don't unlock the flipping seats). As another commenter mentioned, a KMG X drive, breakdance, and mondial escape are all coming/new to the US. Furthermore, there is a moser rides speed flip going to city of fun carnivals
Interesting how the Rotor operated without its floor lowering mechanic when that's basically the selling point of the whole ride. Great video by the way!
I rode the zipper with a friend of mine once. We were terrified and screamed so much that we attracted an audience. I've never been scared like that on any ride.
@@DisneyMarkUK Oh yes. I'd ridden tons of other rides, coasters included, before but the Zipper was really powerful. It looked like fun but once the ride started it got real serious real fast. lol
@@DisneyMarkUK There was one that showed up occasionally at a travelling fair near here but I haven't seen it for a few years now. Did you ever get to ride one?
No2 was called "Rollover" here in Ireland back in the 90's and itwas my absolute favourite ride. Nice and close to the ground but you got flung all over the place flipping backwards and sideways with the force of the break dancer it was so much fun. DONT have any hair sticking out you will get it caught. Also secure any loose change it will become airborn.
The Hexentanz is actually super underrated. If the operator really uses the rides full potential that thing delivers more airtime than any rollercoaster you’ll ever be on. I’m from Germany though. So yeah there really is a good amount of great thrill rides available. I’m also fortunate enough to live in an area where many city fairs take place only a few kilometers away.
I rode the Hi Roller when I was younger, and that one still scares me till this day. The transparent panels were frosted over, so I could hardly see what was going on. That, combined with the very disorienting experience just was not fun for me.
RCS brings their midway to my local county fairgrounds every year and I love their ride selection to pieces. Sadly they haven’t brought their tango to my county fair but they do bring it to the state fair. Their Pegasus 16 though is always brought to my fair and it’s definitely one of my favorite flats of all time, outclassing a lot of coasters to me as well.
I swear, all of these would just make me projectile vomit. What was it the Simpsons called them, the Happy-Go-Pukey? Anyhow, what about carnival dark rides? I've always loved the stupid, goofy things, but as time goes on, there's fewer and fewer. It's gotten to where a given carnival may not even have one! Are they just not being made anymore? Too hard to maintain? (Too many people afraid of finding a body?) I miss them!
I've been a subscriber for a while, but only just found this video. I'm amazed that you only have 1 rotor travelling in the US, really thought they would be much more common, we have around a dozen of these currently travelling the UK circuit. If you ever need any detailed info about UK rides, ownership etc. give me a shout.
I rode the RCS Tango at the L.A. County Fair this year and what a mistake that was. It was possibly the worst ride experience of my life. I left with extreme pain on both my shoulders and I couldn't feel my entire left arm. My shoulder pain persisted for almost a week. It's without a doubt the worst ride I've ever been on.
I’ve seen a good few of them at smaller travelling fairgrounds n festivals here in the UK. Kissel is coming to Huntsville in March! Drove by the Big Ol Ballpark Fair last year and it seems like they keep up with their rides really well. Anyone been to a Kissel fair?
I stopped riding rides at my local fair, I don’t trust the quality or upkeep of those rides, but I would love to find something close to me that takes better care of their attractions
I rode that flipper and it was probably the funnest ride I've ever been on, the line for it was huge I wish it was more common, lately my state fair has just had totally basic and lame rides, but when I was little I would see all the unique crazy ones but was to scared to ride them then
number 2 is at the state fair of Texas last I went. and evolution i had found 1 time at a carnival. I stopped there just to ride it and left. it was at the fort worth stock yards. but the seats was facing out. It literally stays upside down spinning for like 10 sec or more. it was so crazy and super tall
ok ok ok .. the very 1st one, the ufo, ya it looks boring . but I can't believe I forgot this and wish these kids actually did something. so the force of the spin holds you to the wall. we used to slide up the wall and go upside down . though you had to make sure to not still be upside down when it started to slow down. they also had one that each person had a soft slot that moved up and down. oh my goodness I miss this. I seen one about 10 years ago at a haunted house. I wish I rode it then . but I would give anything to ride this even at my age.
A Larson High Roller at #1 - surely you can't be serious? Pretty much any ride from Huss, KMG or Mondial would be higher up than this - including some you mentioned such as Shake and Tango. Surely you must have at least one Breakdance over there?
As a UK person, some of your rare rides are common over here, but also vice versea. 10. Not Gravitron, but have been on numerous Rotors 9. Tango - KMG check (but not RCS) 8. Huss Flipper - not done, but we have something similar called Superbowl 7. KMG Experience - check 6. Hexentanz - not ridden 5. Pegasus - not ridden, but similar to a Top Scan which I have ridden 4. Evolution - not ridden 3. Moonraker - not ridden. 2. Mondial Shake - check (as King Loops) 1. Crazy Train - check, as "It's The Roller" (and sure is the craziest ride ever!!)
I got to ride Inferno at the WA state fair last year, and WOW... WHAT A RIDE. It was so insane, every 2 seconds feeling like my head is going to his another car, or I am going to fly out of it. Me and my 62 year old Dad rode it, and we have never had so much fun on a ride❕ There was another one at the fair that we rode first, and it was way more intense, but I forgot what it was called.
I'm lucky enough that I have been on all these rides (although my Hexentanz experience was at Knott's, not a carnival). RCS Tango really does have a great cycle. Shake is a personal fave. Only did a High Roller once decades ago, but I still remember it well to this day. Before we boarded, the ride op asked us two things: have you eaten lunch (no), and have you seen what this ride does (yes!). The craziest part of that ride is how insanely close you get to the people you face on the turns... you're literally inches away from them
The KMG Tango, Huss Flipper, KMG Experience, Technical Park Pegasus 16, Fabbri Evolution, SDC Moonraker and the Mondial Magnum have all been pieces of San Diego County Fair's Fun Zone.
Next month RMC will be in my home town for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo! You know it's near when you see the giant Ferris Wheel rise from the P-lot. Rotors disappeared once the floor mechanism failed. he "selling point" of the ride.
3:25 There used to be one of these at the original Nickelodeon Universe at the Mall of America in Minneapolis. It used to be Jimmy Neutron themed and I used to love it as a kid. I came back about a year ago to find that it had been replaced by some crappy Paw Patrol themed infant’s playground…
From what I can gather, Twist o twirl rides in the US are very family orientated. Here in the UK, our Waltzer rides date back to the 70s or even before, they are well and truly "white knuckle" that can even scare the most hardened of riders!!!
We here in the PNW don't have much in the way of coasters, but at least we have that Hexentanz! It's a really fun ride, best way I can describe the ride experience is a perpendicular Scrambler
My 2 favorite rides are 1. The fabbri crazy dance traveling with Elliot’s amusements, intense with a lot of laterals 2. The Watkins tempest also owned by Elliot’s amusements, same as the break dance. Intense fast and laterals
I definitely miss the fabbri crazy dance! When we had it, in the middle to late 90’s at the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville, it was the version which had the dice structure in the center and featured the rising plate where it went up and down, in the back, multiple times going both clockwise and counterclockwise. Each up and down cycle would have it rise up slowly until it reached maximum height, then you would hear the air release, and it would immediately come back down. This would repeat several times each for both directions. It was always a nice, long ride and always thrilling, and I would ride it multiple times every time I would go. I don’t know if any fairs still have it, or what the status of it’s existence is, but I would love for the “fair gods”, if any such exist (wishful thinking), to bring it back.
@@suzannesstud my local county fair (they only have like 10 rides) has a crazy dance, I've ridden it well over 200 times. It's my favorite flat of all time. Come to the sailne community fair in michigan to ride it. It's called the cortina bob. Owned by elliots amusements
@@micoasters That is wonderful to see it still in use! I am quite a ways away from there, but one can always hope it might make an appearance around here sometime.
@@suzannesstud I think elliots only operates the cortina bob in michigan since it takes 2 trailers, they may operate outside of mi but I think they only operate all there rides here
@@micoasters It sounds like it, but maybe since they are using it, some of the other ones might consider bringing it back. I have put the bug in the ears of a couple of the common ones around here, but I don’t know yet if they will ever have plans to bring it back.
These are some really good rides. Not sure I agree with your number one pick though. Its been a long time since I rode a High Roller but I remember that thing being painful to ride.
i swear i saw a crazy train at a weird mini-carnival that occasionally popped up in my town as a kid, was too little to ride it but i distinctly remember seeing it, unless i just dreamed it or something lol
As far as i've learned, my family owns a somewhat rare ride to a America. It's the Italian made ride called the Zig-Zag. It's a large version of the kiddy whip, but it's fully loaded on one large semi trailer. From what I've been told, there's only 2 in America.Jones and Company Carnival out of Lexington Missouri is where my family owns ours.
Small correction: I mistakenly called the Larson hi-roller the only American made ride on this list. The chance rotor is also an American made ride.

Next month RMC will be in my home town for the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo! You know it's near when you see the giant Ferris Wheel rise from the P-lot. Rotors disappeared once the floor mechanism failed. he "selling point" of the ride.
I’m excited for the new opportunities for content on this channel after stopping FROTW!! I enjoyed this video:))
Been the Magnum lord knows how many times since 2007. Will be riding it again at the FL State Fair next month.
The only time I rode a Tango was at the Staten Island Fair in 2017 I really enjoyed it
I've been looking for the moonraker for years! I swore I made it up. Thank you for helping me end a long search!
I’m old, so I still thrill at the sight of the Zipper and the Scrambler…really old school stuff like that!
My 2 favorite rides are
1. The fabbri crazy dance traveling with Elliot’s amusements, intense with a lot of laterals
RCS always comes to the San Diego County Fair and has most of the rides on this there. They use all effects from the strobes to sound and fog
Will you cover the accident in the Cobra ride in Denmark that killed a 14 year old girl? So sad
Yeah probably
@@CoasterCollege Cool, thanks!
As far as i've learned, my family owns a somewhat rare ride to a
America. It's the Italian made ride called the Zig-Zag. It's a large version of the kiddy whip, but it's fully loaded on one large semi trailer.
From what I've been told, there's only 2 in America.Jones and Company Carnival out of Lexington Missouri is where my family owns ours.
We plan on fixing ours this next winter after sitting for so long.
