fabulous rendition of a wonderful piece. Albeniz just does't get played enough!
+Edward De Jong Thanks very much!
I totally agree. his is a wonderful performance. :-)
Thanks a lot for your kind comment!
i listened to many pianists playing this magnificent piece. but no one conveyed the deep and warm emotions as you did. Ole
Thanks very much, I'm honored!
@@Enzo_Oliva you actually wrote me this comment while i was listening to your recording in the car 😁. You welcome Enzo.
It was very fun! I'm very happy for this, and thanks very much for listening to my recordings! :-)

Bravo. Ojalá escucharte algún día en persona.
Thanks very very much for your kind comment! I hope to play for you, one day!
Magical, I was whisked away in a dream of love, intrigue, and bliss.
Too kind, thanks very much!
I'm just starting to practise this with classical guitar. I'm using your fantastic performance as a model for my playing (even though I will be doing a totally different rendition). It's so inspiring to listen to you play. Thanks.
Thanks very very much, I'm really honored by your words. Have a nice practice! I hope to listen to your performance.
Sounds very romantic..I playing this with classical guitar, but I love piano version too. One day I hope to play this with piano..
I’m sure you will!
This is the very best performance I have heard. it's sensitive to the title and never rushed or too showy. I love this. :-)
Thanks very very much!
Thanks a lot! I’ve just found you right in time I like to get it into my .. guitar repertoire … to tell flamenco friends how flamenco has been brought into our classical language . Many thanks ,
Elegance, passion, refined taste. Thanks enzo for your extraordinary interpretation
Dear Max, thanks very very much!
Really too kind...thanks a lot!
I probably have watched this 2000 times for my abrsm😂
Thanks a lot, I hope it was helpful for you!
you have caught the spirit of Albeniz!
You are very kind! Thanks very much!
I LOOOVE his interpretation
Thanks very much!
excellent interpretation. I've heard too many versions of players showing off their technique with this piece and leaving out the character and beauty of the piece, which you capture brilliantly!
You are very kind, thanks a lot! :-)
Agree absolutely. Wonderful musical performance. One can feel and almost sense of Spain and it's beauty.
Wonderfully played...got much inspiration for my own practising..
Dear Sabine, thanks very much!
Desde la Caleta., muchas gracias
I thank you for your kind comment!
Nailed it! So many performers play it rather too fast. For me, your tempo is perfect.
Very happy for this, thanks a lot!
Thanks a lot, I'm honoured by your comment!
Many many years ago, when I played at this standard, this was the pace (and rhythmic variation) that I used. Faithful to the composer and the music. Your comment nailed it!
Dear Enzo,
Thanks for your outstanding, brilliant perfomance! so inspiring and breathtaking, I,m suscribing right now!
You are very very kind! Thanks a lot!
Very unique performance, he is able to make the performance sound like there's both a guitar and a piano together. It also feels as though the left hand's notes seem to feel more " accented", stronger and bold, while the right hand feels more lyrical and light, like two partners playing call and response.
Thanks very much for your kind comment, I'm honored by your words!
The piano, the music and YOU, are all handsome
Really too kind...thanks a lot!
Magnificent composition played perfectly with great fluency and dynamics.
Thanks very much!
It is the first time ever, I hear this played on piano. Not bad!
Thanks a lot!
Enchanting.
Thanks very much!

Beautiful! I will definitely put this piece on my repertoire sometime. I have been enjoying your UA-cam channel immensely - and I'm very picky! Your interpretations are so unique and careful and I truly appreciate that in a pianist. Thanks!
Dear Fiona, thanks a lot! You are very gentle and your words honor me! I think "Rumores de la Caleta" is a very nice composition, and I think you will enjoy a lot playing it!

Gracias Enzo.

Maravillosa interpretación Enzo ! Felicitaciones.
Thanks very much!
Superb.....lovely inner voicing.....thank you
Dear Anthony, thanks for your nice words!
I love the way you play it
Thanks very much, I'm very happy for your words! :-)

You, re very welcome, you truly deserve all the praise, Enzo!!;-)
Bravissimo...!!!
Grazie mille!
Thanks very very much. You're really too kind!
Majestic Piece from Maestro 👍👌
Thanks a lot!
Man, this is an absolutely awesome rendition of this piece. I am also learning it at the moment and I am a bit frustrated. I started learning the fast runs from D (like the one in 0:13) with my left hand but it's clumsy and I don´t get the sound I want (like a wave coming and going, which you have achieved perfectly). I can see you play it with your right hand. Would you mind sharing fingering for that passage please? Many thanks, maestro!
+José Miguel Ruiz Dear José Miguel, thanks a lot for your comment, and sorry for my late! Here's my fingering with right hand: 123123532. I think it's a good fingering! Let me know if you like it! :-)
+Enzo Oliva Tried it! And works for me :D I was getting a bit frustrated before because I love the piece but my left hand wasn´t up to speed and those runs sounded clumsy a.f. Now, back again to it! Thank you very much
+José Miguel Ruiz Dear José Miguel, you're welcome! :-)
Very well, i like it
Thanks a lot!
I have never heard dynamics like these, great is an understatement.
Did you keep practicing it? Would be nice to hear you do another rendition after these years :D
Dear Driss, thanks very much for your kind comment. I love this composition, and I play it as often as I can, and I also think it's a very nice bis. Maybe I will post it again. Thanks a lot!
Too magnificent to encapsulate!
Thanks very very much!
@@Enzo_Oliva Ever so welcome!
:-)
Good afternoon, I'm very happy for your comment, and for me it's very special to know about Paula. I'm sure she will play it very well! The only thing I can say, is not to be in a hurry. Start slowly, love this music, and you will learn it without problems. If you have some specific question, ask me and I will be very happy to answer! Greetings from Italy!
Nice trick to change the hands for the passage at the beginning to get to the „right“ hand ;-)
I found it inside an old score, maybe a Curci Edition, and I think it’s very good! ;-)
Most Albeniz works were well translated to the guitar and this one too. But you proved this tune was composed for the piano not for the guitar.
You're really too kind! Thanks very very much for your comment!
How to play calmly like you?
Me encanta
Thanks very very much!
Trying to play this piece has been one of the most frustrating pieces ever because I don't have the pianissimo mastery necessary to play it with the delicacy and intimacy I see in it. Argh! But pianissimo is my focus because _that_ is the real doorway to the real magic. I'm 68, I hope time doesn't run out... NOTE: I do not believe it can be done with full arm weight as that school of thought demands.
Dear Nofer, thanks a lot for this comment, I hope you will be able to play this piece in the way you like it! You’re right, pianissimo is important in this piece. When I have a problem, I always try to think musically and to relax my mind and body. It’s a way to suggest myself, and sometimes it helps me to find new solutions. There are many ways to practice, but I hope my words can help you to find your solutions!
Excelente
Thanks a lot!
hi! i'm 14, and this year i started play this piece.
Is fantastic your video!!
PD: you're italian? :D
Dear Maria, thanks a lot for your words!
Yes, I'm Italian!
Enzo Oliva You may be Italian, but your playing style reminded me of my people. Thank you very much of an Andalusian exile :_)
Rizletch Thanks very very much!
Maria Hi Maria. I’m 12 and this year I started this song. It’s magnifical!
Sublime
Grazie di cuore!
Grande
Grazie!
0:18 That timing is so clean, how do you do it?
It's not difficult: I play everytime scale with the same fingering, and making practice it will become very easy.
Yepes and Enzo
Too kind, thanks very very much!
how can i play my left hand soft ?
I'm very sorry, but only now I have red your comments, and I hope it's not too late. You can make some things:
1) practice only left hand;
2) practice left hand, "playing" the right one on the music stand;
3) be relaxed during your playing;
4) practice slowly, exceeding the difference between the two hands, playing very soft left hand, and strongly (but with softness always) right hand.
I hope I was able to help you!
@@Enzo_Oliva thank you so much ! It is so hard but i will try my best : )
Very good! I play this on guitar.
Thanks a lot! My father is a guitarist, so I listened to this composition played on the guitar before playing it on the piano!
Talantga gap yo'q,😍🤩❤️
Thanks very much! 😊
1:16 "did i turn off the oven before i left ?"
Right, true story!

+Daniel Medina Thanks! :-)
I just want to see if you will reply to all the comments😂
I hope! :-) Thanks a lot!
A very sensitive approach. When the performer disappears and only the transfixing power of the original composition is left, then he/she has arrived.

So u equate baroque with corny? really?
