Security is subcontracted out to the cheapest bidder. The lads are constantly being TUPE'd from one security company to the next, each time the working terms get worse and worse as the contract price is cut further and further.
For a long time you could get your SIA licence if you were on jobseekers allowance. I don't begrudge it helping someone into work but there's an oversupply of SIA badge holders so they can pay peanuts for crap shifts and there's plenty of people who will take it.
These people are demented ... Buckingham Palace is a private building too .. but it has millions of pictures taken of it perfectly legally

DJE - You said you went but no-one gave you permission. You really did have permission - Permission given by the Human Rights Act and, for the drone, also permission from the Civil Aviation Authority. These guys are clueless that PINAC!
The aviation regulations only address the flight safety aspects of the flight and they do not constitute permission.

I knew a guy who worked for a massive drug manufacturer , the cocaine being consumed by the employees was massive , he got done for dealing
A postman who used to deliver to us everyday was always going on fancy holidays and drove an M3, he would have been on not much above minimum wage. He was done for delivering marching powder and jailed for a year.

That gate is as effective at high security as a chocolate fireguard is at protecting people from being burned. Used to do planned maintenance at a few power stations in the uk and they gave us temp id cards but you also went through a turnstyle type gate which only let one person at a time through that was higher security and around 30 years ago.

i would say the request to trespass you from the pedestrian path onto the road was unreasonable since the path was publicly accessible and forcing you onto a road could put you in danger. Furthermore the request was based on the fact they didnt like you filming which is discrimination under the human rights act.
