Loved going to Old Town when I lived in SD. There also used to be a wonderful little pizza place in the North Park area called Anthony's. That was back in the early 80's.
Agreed on the puppy, she does look like she's partially Newf. I used to breed and show them. If she tries to play in her water bowl, that's a pretty good sign. LOL.

Thanks for the pep talk. I've been frustrated recently with the change of the home page as well as the disappearance of many of the collectible categories. As you say -- we have to figure out how to deal with the changes because our income depends on our attitudes.
Some of the things they are asking for and requiring are completely irrelevant to the item I have, but yet I still have to put something in. That is just a pain. Some just repeat the same thing a different way.

Yes, I do remember the 4th quarter fiasco with item specifics. Before that it was the “dumping” of listing photos for Media categories. eBay rolling out seller updates always makes me cringe and wonder about what they will delete, dump or mix up next. But the one thing you can always count on is their lack of timely notification to sellers, when they do have (create) such glitches. I say create, because when they have so many changes in play, in such a complex platform, all change is risky to performance. For instance, their new All Selling page, that replaced the long time Selling Manager Pro layout, left out several key categories of data. I don’t know how many hours I’ve lost this month looking for where they moved the data to, with this new format.
I have never seen a "wheel" or "lighting bolt" or anything like that on my listings.

Thank you for a great presentation explaining. I absolutely agree and make sure I use the " items required " and a few "additionals". But beyond that I'll be one of those on the last page. I just don't n won't have time or inclination to enter 15 additions on one coffee cup.
And we hear from Ebay this will fall in place after everything is complete. I don't know if I have enough years of life left for everything on ebay changes to be complete lol.

Yes frustrated item specs
So Frustrating - I've been working on mine and it is so time-consuming. Some of the things they are asking for don't make sense. Crazy -
Watched one one of your packaging videos before your video today. Low and behold I received a package with a ceramic piece I had ordered. Would ya believe what happened? It was broken because it was loosely shipped in a soda can box. Didn't even turn the it inside out. I had to smile while thinking this seller needs a big dose of Danni🤣

I saw baby sea dragons at the aquarium of the pacific,they reproduced them earlier! A few years ago,so incredibly cute! Thanks for the you tube videos!
I live in San Diego county and I love that aquarium. Love those sea dragons too. They are something to see. Now, I have to go again. 😂 Old town is cool too. One day it will be back to the norm. Come to think of it, all of San Diego is 💣.

Also, if you narrowed the results, and then change your mind on one, for example, from long sleeve to short sleeve, eBay will often only search for short sleeve with in the already narrowed results. That is an unfortunate fact. Or, it will start from the beginning and forget your other choices all together. You have to watch the top of the screen all the time To ensure you have not drastically limited your results.

Sellers need to check their listings. eBay's new requirement just purged all my item specifics from 138 of my 400 listings. All that work is now gone. Here we go again!

Very frustrated by continuing seeing all the listings that need item specifics that I've already added as much as I can and checked the box to not tell me again.
For me the last change said all my hats needed the item specific: Department. I found that so odd because when the listings went active every one of them had an eBay category. Just how does Department differ from Category.
So, as of 5/19. I only had 4 items that need required item specifics and specifically they need the size. Now, I can tell you with 100% certainty that I added the size when I originally listed the item. It would be silly not to add the size when listing. Which means that eBay deleted my size on those 4 shoe items. Is this something that is going to keep happening?

How do I delete an old listing that was posted in error?
Call eBay Customer Service and they will walk you through it or go to Active Listings, search for the item and then choose End Listing
You simply go to your Active listings - find the one you want to delete - check the box and select End listing

As a buyer, I always scroll down to "see all" and then that way I don't miss a category to narrow the results.
