I love that you use your planner as a wallet too. I’ve been wanting to do the same thing and yours is so cute and chic!! I love the size of the hobonichi weeks 😍
That's a beautiful way of looking at cover choices! I'm glad I could do my part to spread the word about the stencil. Thank you so much for commenting!
The paper of the Hobonichi brand notebooks is so thin, that sometimes (depending on the pen you use), you could have issues with indentations on the next page, or some people (like me) just want a sturdier backing for the page and that's where a pencil board comes in! I also use it as a blotter sometimes when I use fountain pens...but I don't recommend that application. I completely understand your worry, but there might be online retailers based where you are that sell hobonichi products (but it will likely be slightly more expensive than the hobonichi site). Good luck!
Love your haul. We are on the same page. I’ve using the English Techo for four years. For next year I ordered two plain notebooks because I want to try it without the dates. I hope I don’t succumb to my own pressure and order an English Techo from JetPens 🙈🤗
jenny lopez-ponce Even today I felt the Jetpens pull 😬 to complete my A6 with an English techno, but I took a step back and got through it. I think you’re wise to get two of those plain notebooks. I was strongly considering the day free, but I prefer the completely free possibility found in the plain book! 💛 Thank you for sharing!
Sorry about that! They're sticky notes, but very thin, very small, and made out of a type of plastic film rather than paper. They are made to specifically fit the narrow spaces of hobonichi monthly spreads, but I typically use them to highlight lines of text when I plan since they are transparent. Thanks for asking!
Charlene Vasilik That’s a great eye you have! I bought it from the online store Cute Things From Japan. It’s by an artist who goes by Eric Small Things, or that is the name of the line. Thanks for asking!
I like your simile, and I find the comparison apt (if not the criticism). What we value in life speaks to our character. As you observed, I place value in the joys of ephemeral paper. I hope you have found your own simple joys in life, love.
I loved watching your videos just realize that you were at 999 subscribers I am honored to be your 1k subscriber keep it up.
You are so sweet! Thank you for your kind comment, your time, and your subscription; it all means so much!
The note with the bear cover is so beautiful omg
I was so pleasantly surprised by the combo! Thank you!

I love seeing everyone’s personality in what covers they choose. Adorable 😍 ...and why did I never know this washi tip on the stencil!!!

Absolutely adorable. I love that the bears are on a nylon cover.
Thank you! I'm so happy they were too.
I love the blink cover too! Still waiting for mine to arrive!
I went thru the same struggle but for different reasons and ordered the plain grid books too
This the first time seeing this brand .. I’m loving this unboxing.. I’m afraid to order..
What is a pencil board used for?

Thanks really enjoyed the unboxing convinced me to try it! Always had planners just to dump my brain but I have been wanting to get this.
That cover looks so pretty on the weeks 😊
Thank you!
I was wondering where you purchased your hobonichi mega weeks cover from?

The Personified Pen - I love that shop! The nicest people 😊
Love your choices - TFS 💕
Thank you!
You sound exhausted, just by unboxing small note books, papers?
Just excited, love! This was also after a long/difficult day at school/work, so I probably was a bit tired too.
Your handling of the box as if you are opening a box of crown jewels is irritating.
They are just papers, for God's sake!

I treat my papers and covers as if they were jewels 🥰
