Now tell me, you are going to burn water to produce what? It is impossible. Of course, you could push water through electrolysis to produce hydrogen and oxygen and then use hydrogen to run the car. The problem, water here is not the fuel, it is just a medium, electricity is the source of energy. And you will always get less energy from hydrogen that what you consumed to produce it on the first place. There is no embedded energy in water to consume. The idea is amazing and very attractive, but when you think about it, it does not make sense.
