- The Construction Of Kirigiti stadium is now complete. Kirigiti international stadium is located in the outskirts of Kiambu town in Kenya.
The upgrade of Kirigiti stadium to meet international standards was started late 2020 and now the first phase is now complete with the construction of the second phase now underway.
Kirigiti international stadium was constructed and funded by the government of Kenya at a cost of 600 million Kenya Shillings.

I will miss kirigiti 😢its been home for the last 6 years. I have used the stadium before and after and yes kiambu is very beautiful. Beyond the stadium is a shooting range and coffee farms.tembea kenya ❤

I have always heard of this stadium but I didn't know it was such a huge project under the leadership of honorable Kabogo at the time he was governor of kiambu county...I heard him talk of this project but wee am jazzed by the way it's huge...I hope when they open it up that you'll showcase how it looks like inside...I believe they've done a great job

That's not complete. The turf, scoreboard, and numbered seats are not yet installed. We have a tendency to declare something is complete before it is and even more alarming, we tend to say that a project is 60% complete when we have eyes to see that something is not complete

I beg to differ. It's not good at all. It's only good if it can be expanded without the need for total reconstruction .Why not construct a 60k seater once?
At a cost of 600m, we could have added 600m to have a real modern stadium that can serve Kenya in the long run. My views.
